- In honor of this weekend's Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 for the Australian V8 Supercars Series. I take the Ford Falcon Supercar to Mount Panorama for a 13 lap race with one mandatory pit stop. I can assure you, tires WERE harmed in the making of this video!

I'll be up late! The race usually ends around 3 or 4 in the morning for us, depending on how much yellow there is.
You need to ride the kerbs at Bathurst, if the car is unstable, you need so soften it up so it will ride them.
I like Bathurst - memorably described as a place where a motor race takes place in between the fist fights between the Ford fans and the Holden fans. I think the Dipper is the most frightening corner in motor sport, more frightening than Laguna Seca's Corkscrew. At least there's a run-off area at the Corkscrew...

Find Mark Skaife's video of a interview when he describes going around Bathurst. He gives a corner by corner description around the whole track with braking points, gear changes and other points of interest. I think it was on RPM Channel 10 last Sunday.

A 1:10 around the mountain, I think its Jamie Whincup, was it set the fastest lap last year which was a low 2:05

Sam Pizza no, because the lap record is a 2.05 set by Greg Murphy. If he’s doing 1.10s he is under the time.
ummm i dont think you know much, greg murphy set a 2m 6s in 2003, in 2014 whincup did a 2m 4s and this year mclaughlin did a 2m 3s

Project Cars 2 has had an update with a lot of improvement, including AI. It would be fun if you tried something similar to this with the new patch!

Have you guys had trouble with locking up the front tires when you guys brake?
Rick Hutton set the brake pressure to 87% and brake bias to 55 that might help
was in formule c didnt know bathurst now i hate it i just skip every bathurst race there is but seeing this i want to face my fear
people say this game is very hard on controller but i set a 2.11 lap time on controller

Your not allowed to cross the line on the left coming into the pits, a car last season or last races there, can't remember which(getting old, mind going....) I think it was received a penalty for it.
"Draft" is what comes in under the Front Door...we call it a "Tow" like when you get your car towed.

Jandals are like thongs, which are like flip flops in US. Typically they are a bit thicker and have fabric straps rather than rubber. I giggled when I read the title- well in.

The real Bathurst race is a 161 lap enduro & they definitely use the hard compound.

V8 Supercars have only 2 compounds and they are slicks and wets project cars need to get there facts right
V8s have 3, softs (yellow writing on tyres, supersofts (white writing on tyres and intermediates, everyone thinks that the tyres they use are wets but they are intermediates

Thanks for the comments. I was going to get pc2 but was very skeptical. I was only going to get because it has Bathurst but now I’m definitely not. I would love for a v8 supercar game with correct physics and sounds. I remember having the game on ps2 it was fun, but why not on new gen consoles.
