- GT3 cars are the most popular class for racing BY FAR in Project CARS 2... mainly because the cars are very user-friendly, which some folks mistake for being easy to drive. Well, let's take 30 GT3 cars to the Nurburgring Nordschleife in a thunder storm and see how that theory holds up!

In 6:48 ..... The accident seemed spectacular, very realistic. It is something that we all want to see in a rain race and I love that the creators of Proyect Cars 2 have given importance to this aspect in the AI.

GT3 @ Spa, GT3 @ Spa. I joined a racing league and omg we're doing more than GT3 @ Spa!! I love the GT3 cars though so I don't mind hoping into the random lobbies and winning some races. Feels good especially when full damage is on and i'm just pretty much following behind (no qual) until everyone but 2 or 3 people have wrecked them selves. Then I just run up and do some hot lapping for 1st or 2nd. Thanks for the good video and damn this game looks amazing

Thanks for this David, I find your videos very watchable. I’m new to PC2 and learning a lot from you. I found the M6 ok to drive but I’m no where near your level. I took your advice and pumped the AI aggression up, it makes it even more realistic. Btw, if you used the term ‘wanker’ I should let you know that here in the UK that word is the equivalent to jerk-off 😂😂😂. Keep the vids coming and the cultural faux pas!

On the Aston Martin, try changing the tires and see if that works. I know on the Aston Martin Vulcan, there's something wrong with the default automatic tire selection. It drove like a boat. When I changed the tires it drove like a normal car.

Nice driving! Do you use TC / ABS? For me it's almost impossible to drive GT3 cars (especially in the wet) without that, otherwise i keep spinning out of curves. Still a bit of a noob.
Do you run full damage? I really enjoy the thrill of knowing any wreck has consequences.

Eh, at least they are using something other than the Xbow, Bac Mono and Open Wheel which seems to be what a lot of channels do like 80% of the time.

Caterhams are great fun to drive too. But the answer with GT3s is the fact they're mainstream 'desired' cars. Simple as that really.
I race GT3, GTE and LMP's because they are my favourites categories to watch in real life.
Blancpain GT Sprint/Endurance : good spectacle. IMSA Weather Tech : very nice GT grid (for both GTD and GTLM categories) and a lot of battles (6 points ahead for Corvette against BMW for the win in GTLM at the end of Petit Lemans (1st : Corvette with 348, 2nd : BMW with 342, 3rd : Ford with 338 points. Only 10 points of difference at the end of the season between the first and the third. Same can be said for GTD. That's very nice !).
LMP1 is the king of kings for me : slower than a F1, ok true... But can race 6,12 or 24h races (don't forget free practices and qualifications) with a 1000hp 2L V4 ... And even on very harsh surfaces like Sebring, they keep going. Technically just BRILLIANT, maybe too much regarding the actual situation of the LMP1 unfortunately :(

Man that AI clusterf*ck at the beginning is pretty brutal. Stacking that badly where you literally come to a standstill is kind of inexcusable on the developer's part.

I love all race cars but GTP and Group C are the best in my opinion. I wish they were done better in this game.

i have a problem , no matter what car i take, the AI if flyng past me on straights no matter whet i do even at lowest difficulty that i tried, and i use G29 wheel
Asso Vilman probably need to recalibrate your throttle pedal. Sounds like when you full depress it, it doesn't register as 100% throttle in game
Thats so weird the FFB bug, I haven't noticed it on my Fanatec. There was a patch today maybe/hopefully that fixed it. Maybe it was intentional. SMS was like you know, instead of making the AI harder/more difficult.... let's just make the wheel violently shake and make it harder to steer the car. /sarcasm.
Just an FYI: The FFB problem is Logitech wheel related only.

Bit of a glitch in regards to damage sustained by the user versus the AI, wouldn't you say? I mean that AUDI that crashed into the Porsche should've had mechanical failure LONG before it got back into the pits. The lap wasn't even at half it's distance after the crash occurred, yet you suffer the mechanical failure from your small accidents. Maybe it's where the damage was sustained? But the AUDI ran plum into the Porsche, so I am confused. [-_-']

Only few road cars are actually fun to drive in Sims: e.g. Porsche GT3 RS, Caterham 620R and KTM X-Bow, BMW 1M... the rest of the bunch FW-charteristic hatchbacks and Hypercars -> just awful!

The GT3-spec RUF in Project Cars was though. RUF doesn't build race cars.
Watched it all. It's a pity that almost all overtakes happened due to spin/crash of AI, it's not so satisfying. AI will be good when there will no longer be T1 crashes as well...
I like Z4 for handling and Aston Martin - this one only for sound.
