  • ok let's just get started
for the container we use a gallon of used mineral water 15 L
we cut the top but not all the way through so that it can be opened and closed
on the lower side we punch many holes for drainage and soil aeration
the planting medium is a 1:1 mixture of soil and compost
what we plant is a wild physalis (ground cherry) variety
the fruit is smaller but sweeter
squeeze and spread the seeds evenly
cover with soil but not too deep
then put it in the shade
    now it's time for thinning
first select a plant that grow the best
the leaves are the most numerous and large, the stems are the biggest
after we make a choice, we pluck the rest
we can transfer the discarded ones to another container
the important thing is there is only 1 plant in each container
    for optimal growth
    also remove the weeds
now we reposition the selected plant to the center of the container
Physalis grows well if it doesn't get full sunlight
so we always we put it in a place where there is shade, like under a tree
The important thing is not to be exposed to direct sunlight all day
    the flowers have appeared
even some have started to turn into fruit
at this stage the leaves will be smaller
do not worry, this is not due to disease or pests
but because the energy that the plant gets is focused on the formation of flowers and fruit
no longer for the formation of new leaves or shoots
after 13 weeks we can start harvesting the fruit
but unfortunately we cannot wait for all the fruits to ripe and then harvest them all at once
because once it is ripe, the fruit will easily fall or be eaten by animals
so as soon as there is fruit which skin looks yellow we immediately harvest it
    easy isn't it, happy gardening
