On today’s top ten, we’re bringing you a list of players that could be switching national team allegiances very soon. A number of these are Englishman looking further afield, including Matty Cash going for his Polish passport, and the Sierra Leone authorities keeping an eye on Trevor Chalobah. Arnaut Danjuma could swap the Netherlands for Nigeria - a nation Ademola Lookman is also considering, whilst Inaki Williams and Callum Hudson-Odoi might be eyeing a career with the Black Stars of Ghana. West Ham’s Issa Diop has turned his back on France but has two African nations to pick from, and Junior Firpo could play for small Caribbean nation Dominican Republic. Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s links with DR Congo are well documented, and as for Jamaica - if you’re currently uncapped for any nation you could have a chance of playing for them if eligible. Demarai Gray is amongst the host of names that could become one of the Reggae Boyz. Enjoy!

There's around 23 players in the prem, and another 40 in the championship that Jamaica can call up plus an embarrassment of richies on the island, but coaching and finances is the problem, not talent!
Would be cool to see those english/Jamaican guys finally commit to Jamaica
No
@@bennicholls7277 why?
i got to disagree with benchod nicholls on this, i find it very interesting to see people who could have represented a stronger nation choose to play for a weaker nation
@@samplingmastersxlr8660 their entire footballing education took place in England and they all play for English youth teams
@@bennicholls7277 and? They’re still Jamaican.
6:10 The joy I got when he called Ghana one of Africa's strongest Nation. Ghana is more than a Nation
Keep decieving yourself.
Currently Ghana is not a serious threat to any serious top African team.
@@Biobele potential is there .. Ghana Cameroon and Nigeria are the best african nations
@@Aravindhan2804 Algeria Egypt and Senegal are better than Ghana and Cameroon
@@Aravindhan2804 Ghana and Cameroon are not that good right now and Nigeria are only okay but Algeria and Senegal are the best in Africa currently
@@lilj2326 Egypt is shite. The only memorable player they have is Salah. Cameroon and Ghana are better then Egypt by a thousand times
The focus has to be on developing homegrown talents. The reality is that 98% of European grown players that play for Africa chose the African sides as a second option.
This means that African teams are relying on second tier European talent to compete globally. It is the Salahs, the Manes, the Ndidis, the Osimhens that make all the difference, not necessarily building a strategy on player switching.
There is nothing wrong with it, but it should not be overused. It should be used sparingly.
Very right am actually not a fan of this getting second hand players from European nations into our African nations , and limiting the opportunities of our homegrown talents .
@@gabrichini3841 exactly, because what good the African nations gaining even if they were good enough to qualify and win the World Cup? More to represent a nation than just the spirt.
also benzema, pogba, mbappe, countless
Gray could be the missing piece of the 🧩 for 🇯🇲
I think some better midfielders would help more but gray would be great
Lol still not making the wc. Because 🇨🇦 is too hot for u
Have fun watching larin, Hoilett, buchanan & Kaye all Jamaicans too 😜
Have fun bottom of the league too 🤣
@@davidumana9861 how many of the North American teams qualify?
The fact that Luis Enrique would rather call up Morata instead of Inaki Williams is wild lol He should definitely go to Ghana so he can play at a WC since Enrique clearly has his favorites
Slabhead Lucho
Little brother Nico can also make the Spanish senior team ahead of any Spaniard.
Broooo Nigeria can be really OP if these players switch nations damn 🔥 🇳🇬 🦅
Exactlyyyy the only person I don’t think would have been good was Saka not saying he’s not good but he would get bullied in Afcon
@@itz_amzey9312 Guy chill. People always say African football is more physical but those English and Scottish men are built different
Curtis Jones is from naija too
@@Marlo-Stanfield damn wtf really?
@@ohagwasidavid8182 no they’re really not
That was a great list
The amount of players nations like Jamaica or West African nations can call up from London area is quite astomishing.
Quite embarassing as well
@@TheMasterpiecePD why ??
@@TheMasterpiecePD embarrassing for whom
That's what slavery, Colonialism, neo-colonialism and propaganda gets you. How many nations without these can boost of the same situation "the London area" finds itself in?
All those nations are or were at one point property of her majesty, territories of England, property of UK etc some of their people were seen as honorary English men, subordinates to the crown of Great Britain, etc etc.
So yeah it makes sense why they speak English, why they would see Great Britain as a potential place to migrate to, why these countries would have so many citizens or dual citizens in "the London area".
How many Jamaicans or half jamaicans can Jamaica call from Japan or Kenya or represent them in anything? Because that relationship of slave and master, property and owner, colonialism or neo colonialism was and is not there.
You don't turn on the TV in Nigeria and see propaganda of Japan or Kenya or guatamala in Nigeria so there is little or no incentive to go to those places the way USA and UK channels in Nigeria both movies and news tell you how great Great Britain is and how Good USA is and how bad your country is and how it's only going to get worse EVERY SINGLE DAY.
So understandably people are curios and want to confirm is it true United States of America is truly as United as they claim? Is great Britain really that great?
China has started their own campaign and in the last 20 years and they've started seeing the same results with the rise of Nigerians in Guangzhou A.K.A Little Africa.
@@Biobele The Chinese have already been called out for taking away Nigerian passports in Guangzhou, I would know since I am Chinese myself but live in the UK.
This is beautiful content.
Love it 😍
There’s a weird dynamic also for the more Native Jamaicans that might feel some type of way when Jamaicans from foreign wanna play for the national team but in reality the team hasn’t performed up to standards as of late and need all the help they can get. Whether they’re American/Canadian/English raised.
lol the only time 🇯🇲 ever qualified for a World Cup they were full of British born players.
@Khalid a lot countries feel this way when a foreign based native gets denied from the English/Spanish/French national teams for example and they decide to commit after the fact. Some countries embrace them wholeheartedly too. Two sides to every coin you know?
@Khalid yeah still Jamaican but will literally get robbed in the streets of Spanish town just because they’re born in the UK 😂😂 oh yeah but they’re still Jamaican 🙄🙄🙄
putting that aside for a moment though jamaica would actually have a class squad if all those guys declared! would be exciting to watch!
The diaspora of Jamaica is too big and it's quality too much to ignore Jamaica has to integrate because it's only going to become more of an issue with the mass migration soon Germany and Belgium Nederland and Romania are going to come knocking Japan for the women the Islanders need to step up or the diaspora will be the ones repping the country.
I want to see Thiago Alcantara go back to playing for Brazil. He switched because it's harder to make the Selecao, but now he's not being called by Spain anymore. He's only thirty and still at his peak, so if I were Coach Tite I would use him in the Brazilian midfield.
Hudson-Odoi, Williams, Nketiah will be a good frontline for Ghana in the world cup.
Ghana got mad talent thats why we are the king of African football
They should bring cup to African ..we do have a good players
Jamaica always are tough in CONCACAF, as an American we always struggle to get past them even tho we have a more talented squad. If they start to get more players to switch from England they could be a powerhouse
Quite an interesting time to watch this video as later today I will do an interview with Colchester's Sylvester Jasper, who plays there on loan from Fulham. I will ask him if he would accept an invitation for the Bulgaria's national team because his mother is Bulgarian.
Callum please come play for Ghana 🇬🇭 we need you so badly..we love you
part 2 please boys?
Make an Entire video on this topic solely for 🇬🇧 and 🇳🇬
Jamaica could become a new powerhouse in concacaf with all the talent they could acquire
Is good to see that
I'm a Ghanaian living in Sierra Leone you are really saying the truth about the Chelsea players charloba
interesting video but in regards to demarai grey. there is soooooo much attacking players ahead of him so i think he should switch but thats just me
I fully hope that they would switch their allegiance as they have favoured their respective national teams where they were hailed from, good friends!!!:-D
More of these videos
what about eddie nketiah ??
Christopher Nkunku for DR Congo as He's being overlooked by France
Matty Cash, Ademola Lookman, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Issa Diop, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Demarai Gray will switch nationality from this list
Saint-Maximin should play for Guadeloupe
Gabriel Martinelli could also play for Italy
No longer..... He's committed and started featuring for Brazil
@@lawrencenjawe9875 he's still eligible
a front two of Antonio and Toney would be terrifying
don't forget they have leon bailey already, it's gonna be an even more juicier front line when they can get another world class winger (hopefully)
Arthur Masuaku and Aaron Wan Bissaka in the same team?!! Fullbacks galore
So that's one decent fullback down, now Congo need a right back
that would be Really Good for us i hope wan bissaka comes
Williams would be a great winger for Spain and striker cause those areas Spain lack only Morata and Moreno and Fati Ferran but not much others who should be ahead of him
I will be happy if charlobah come and play for Sierra Leone because he is one of the biggest Star our country is proud of.
Wan Bissaka should probably switch at this point.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea for Chalobah minor to play for Sierra Leone. His older brother ought to switch though.
Lookman should change, Bakayoko as well
Don’t forget Ebere Eze🇳🇬
Ebere Eze don't want to play for nija and so nobody is begging him to play for us
Can't wait to see the Chalobah brothers home🇸🇱
But Rudi always my favorite 🇸🇱🇸🇱🇸🇱🇸🇱
True
Oh cashy my boy pls come back to forest one day anyway good luck cashy for Poland
A whole video on 🇳🇬 and 🏴 should be made
Majority of mixed Nigerians in England are the same as mixed Jamaicans usually mixed with Irish and not English
The french team is even bigger. Practically all of them accept the goalkeeper and Griezmann. Everyone else’s family are from Africa.
Better to play for a National Side where you are assured of a starting place than warming the bench or never being called up for England. These players not playing for England can't hurt England in anyway. it is only best for their international careers.
Why Ghanaian players always rejecting Ghana 😂😂😂 Depay,Inaki,alphonso Davis,Balotelli, Jerome Boateng,Rashford 💀
Because people would rather play in the Euros and have a chance at a world cup than playing in the AFCON and having little to no chance at a world cup
Davies isn't even Ghanaian though. He was born in Ghana in a refugee camp, his parents are from Liberia.
@@Abiodun92 born so he qualifies 🤨
@@Afric808 Calling him Ghanaian is a bit misleading because he probably doesn't have nationality nor any tangible ties to the country anyway, aside from being born there as a refugee and moving to Canada as a baby. I don't see why he would choose Ghana over Canada.
@@Afric808 yeah but he has no other ties to ghana, he would never have picked them in a million years, even if he didn’t get his canadian citizenship he would’ve played for liberia instead
Awb defo should play for Congo
those players on bench shud switch their nationality, come & play the upcoming afcon to prove them why u shud not be on bench & also see much talent in u
#9 🤔 make that choice quickly
It’s all well and good these players declaring for a country but do they actually have commitment or emotional attachment to that country? Antonio literally decided he couldn’t be bothered to travel and pulled out for 🇯🇲.
Wilf Zaha picks and chooses when he plays for 🇨🇮.
this information is inaccurate
Joseph Gomez of Liverpool for The Gambia 🇬🇲
How do these players change nationality. Pls explain
Toney can represent three different nations England, Jamaica and ST Vincent and the Grenadines
I can see the Grenadian in Ivan Toneys facial features.
- Lookman has not consistently shown that he deserves to be an england regular.
- CHO has not consistently shown that he deserves to be an england regular just as Lookman.
- wan bissaka deserves a shot at right back for england.
AWB should definitely have a few caps in friendlies by now just to see how he is.
Reece james and TAA too OP for AWB to make any debut appearance
rice and grealish for definite 🇮🇪
Bamford too
Irish clinging onto anyone 🤣 they're both English born and bred. Just because they're great, great, great grandma was Irish doesn't mean they should play for you 🤣🤣🤣
That’s not possible
There too ashamed to play for Ireland
@@Azzi_0161 then why did they play for the u20?
ODOI ALREADY DID
There's Ampadu a Ghanaian father and either Scottish or Irish mom.plays for Chelsea
Irish mum, About 70% of mixed race people in England are mixed with Irish. In the 70s in London d the only mixed people there was were Irish and Jamaican or Irish and African. Ampadus father used to play football in ireland. His father is mixed race born to an Irish mother and Ghanaian father
What about Bryan mbeumo
Man if these guys came and played for jamaica they could have actually had a chance to qualify for a world cup... Jamaica has many talented players
Would be amazing to see trev join Sierra Leone. Already had stars such as Ryan giggs, rudiger and reo coker decide to play for different nations

And Rice and Grealish for Ireland
They're not even Irish tbf. Both born and bred in England
Lol so cringe
They can’t qualify for Ireland anymore
@@Azzi_0161 in fairness Declan rices mother is from Longford, ireland and so are his Maternal grandparents. His fathers parents are from cork. Both were brought up with Irish culture. Doesn’t matter we’re they were born. I don’t understand why you get upset because there dna is Irish. But not if it’s somthing else. Poland have qualified for the showpiece in Qatar after beating Sweden and Matty can hope for the Polish call up and play together with Robert Lewandowski in which will likely to be Lewa's last World Cup!
Nigeria has so many talents out there playing for Europe. Even plenty other African countries. The latest one that plays for Germany and for RB Salzburg Adeyemi is partly Nigerian. There is no week that passes that I don't see or hear a Nigerian name in the football games.
If the country can become better and the government too more players will want to commit
How is Matty Cash switching nationality if he's never represented England at any level
Actually there was Venezuelan player at ranks with Bilbao. Can't remember his name now
Fernando Amorebieta

Not going to mention Tomori to Canada? If he doesn’t play again before December next year he can play for Canada. Yes Southgate has called him up but if he continues to ignore him there’s a chance.
Canada or Nigeria

African nations should reject dual nations who stall if they can’t get a chance at their first option.

Shame they didnt switch tthen more native players would get a chance and become better players 👍🏻🏴
If only Haaland chose England over Norway 😥
No
All the Mexican Americans lol 😂
