Like somebody commented once "" she's Japanese so that means she can be anything between 15 and 45" . But she's actually 20 something in this video. She started drumming rather late in life at 15, Shows how crazy talented she is.

Apparently there are 2 drummers named Junna? Or so I was told. And I guess wiki confused the age of the two of them. So I just say between 20 and 25 in the vid.
Fun fact: the dragonforce drummer reacted to this and was like 😮. He said it was the best cover he's ever seen. Also I think she's in her early 20s. She's already toured with a couple bands too.

What's so impressive about this is her way of playing. So loose and comfortable. You can truely see she enjoys every moment behind her kit. This kid will go far.
Junna is now my favorite ever drummer overtaken Neil Peart and Nico Mc'Brain. Not only only technically good but and absolute sheer joy and pleasure to watch always put a massive grin on my face.
I've watched her play this at least 100 times after I discovered it. She is my favorite drummer. I think she was 21 when she did it.

Junna is Amazing! Just watched her do Painkiller by Judas Priest, and it doesn't disappoint. How I found Junna was watching a reaction Video By the Guitarist of Dragonforce Herman Li losing his mind watching a girl Named Tina S play ALL the Solos to THIS song! without missing a Note! most amazing thing about it was she was only 15 years old when she filmed it! it's something to see! Peace.....
She works hard to have those results. Practice obviously makes perfect, with a big dose of talent.

Gee Anzalone, the DragonForce drummer did a reaction to this video, he approved. IMO the best cover is by Hangar drummer Aquiles Priester either on his own YT channel on his kit with Paiste Colorsound 900s that make it look awesome or on Paiste Cymbals' channel as part of his endorsement deal. He was DragonForce's drummer on their last tour as well.

Glad you finally discovered this tiny dynamo. LOL First time I saw her was for her cover of Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force. I saw the title and saw the thumbnail and was like "Who is this and how does she even know who Yngwie is?" LMAO Junna just blows me away.... this tiny kid just playing insane drums like she's skipping down a goddamn sidewalk. LOL Seriously the energy she exudes can power all of Japan. I love it when she plays the high hat pedal with the heel of her foot while she's playing the bass pedal at the same damn time. Watching her play is better than an espresso for an energy boost.
Junna is actually 20. One of her hobbies is cosplay in which she looks much younger than her real age. She is the former drummer for the J-metal girl group Kakumei (now called Trident), and has guested with other Japanese bands.
I like to imagine that after the video ends the drum kit does an impression of the car from Blues Brothers.

I still remember when you said haruna the drummer Lovebites is young. But she's age 30 years old.

JUNNA helped form a Japanese punk band called "Girls Rock Band Kakumei" in 2016 and apparently their local live shows were quite impressive. The Corona quarantine put them on hiatus during the early part of 2020 until they announced in May that they were changing their name to "TRiDENT" and that JUNNA was leaving the band (she actually decided to leave in March, 2020). Also, JUNNA is not as young as a lot of people think she is. I believe she was 23 when she did this drum-cover video. 🤘😁
I thought Trident would suffer with the loss of Junna, but damn if their new drummer (Nagisa) isn't also terrific. What are they putting in the water over there?

To be honest we need more who are into science than drummers. She is enjoying her passion with drumming as all musicians should and she is very good for her age. I choose my drug which is music (mostly guitar) but I keep up with science bc every1 should know how things work. Last note...Archspire drummer blew my mind...yea :)

In Japan there is a nuclear power plant that is out of control; she is called Junna. She has great energy. She has to work on playing in control. But is so much fun to watch her. Information is a little bit difficult to come by because there is another Junna in Japan who is a singer.
Watching Junna led me to Akane and Band-Maid. You should check Junna out when she was in Girl Rock Band Kakumei, which became Trident. She left the band last March. You can't miss her drumming in these videos. 👍👍🤘🤘🤘
