This is the part of the game that nearly broke me. Because of Teresa's protective instincts and strong love for Oscar which ultimately led to both their demise, and how Velvet was pretty close to breaking because that was the same event that triggered her trauma at the hands of Artorius.

One of the most tragic moments I've seen in videogames. Not only for the siblings but also for Velvet, Laphi and El of course. Another evidence why Berseria is so dark.

The worst part is that in both cases the protagonists move on over the major antagonist deaths way too fast. I don't mind this when the antagonist have no character development and are just dicks for the sake of it. However this wasn't the case! It wasn't with Alice&Decus and it wasn't here! Mourn their deaths a little or give them some respect as opponents at least!
