Eleanor certainly provides an interesting contrast to the rest of the party, given her status and theirs. It's like a pure knight traveling with a group of bandits and not wanting to be part of their madness. XD

Much in the same vein as Zestiria's Rose, a speedy and determined bandit travelling with pure knights and bringing her own pure madness into their ranks.
I mean I like her, she's functionally a mirror to Velvet as they both have similar origins but vastly different results before meeting back in the middle again.
"Eleanor's Bizarre Adventure"
I like how in the skits Velvet has that thousand yard stare most of the time. Then she switches up and cracks a smile every once in awhile lol.
Rokurou and Eizen are hilarious. They're basically the "Big Brothers" to little Laphicet.

and don't forget everyone's favorite Earth seraphim is his little sister.
But why do I feel rok is like a pet dog to velvet? every time velvet ask why he's with her I feel like he's like a dog is to it's master.
I would say Rokuro is more like a vassal to Velvet being a Lord/Lady
In this episode, Laphicet learns to understand men and women.......
Velvet's relationship with Laphicet is my favorite thing about this game, because of they greatly foil each other, Laphicet grows thanks to her influence, and he brings out her gentler, sisterly side, hence why she always acts very soft and protective around him. It's just a very sweet big sister/little brother relationship that hits a chord with me. If you could ask me to name the deuteragonist of the game, I think Laphicet fits the bill. He's Xion from Kingdom Hearts done right in my book.
Velvet's face when Magilou said she's betting 100 gald that Velvet will give up. Priceless.
Also, Eleanor's not so secret mission. She gets beaten by Velvet 3 times and in the end seems destined to be screwed over by Velvet until she dies.
That was literally "1 v 1 me scrub": the boss fight. I loved it.

Velvet: get rekt'd
And now we can finally have Eleanor go ham on bosses
The squad has been assembled! The crybaby has finally joined for whatever reasons she tells herself. She's so fun to play as too

Elanor and Eizen have to be my favorite characters. Eleanor with her sense of justice and Eizen is just plain badass

I just realized that velvet as Tales protagonist doesn't have staple arte like demon fang or azure edge. well sorey doesn't too but he has tiger blade and alisha has demon fang.

I've noticed that the game seems to be particular stingy about recovery items, with you finding mostly equipment and gald in chests. Same goes for enemy drops.
