    This is awesome just got one a few days ago. Quick question guys I also have a 60AH battery in its battery box from Kings. Is there a way where I can link both battery boxes together so I can charge both batteries. Would I be able to charge my 60Ah battery by using the hight power battery terminals on the batblock ?

    • @AdventureKings

      We wouldn't recommend wiring the batblock and battery box together unless you are running the same size and batch battery.

    Hi. looks very neat! Can you recharge the BatBlock on the go using just your car cigarette 12 volt output to one of the input anderson plugs and can you charge it with a Victron 12volt smart charger via the alligator clips to your positive and negative terminals.? Cheers.

      @AdventureKings  Před 17 dny +1

      Hi there,
      While it unfortunately doesn't have a cigarette input port, there are alternator inputs on the unit you could use to charge via the vehicle alternator that would fit the same bill via a different approach.

      Hi there,
      Thank you for the question, by cutting down the system, and having it directly integrated there is less area of resistance and far less heat generated, on top of this the unit is ventilated to keep everything normalised.

      Hi there,
      Thank you for the comment, while it is unfortunately only able to take 12v inputs via the labelled input sections, in regards to fire resistance, the unit is compartmentalised to reduce any damages caused by a short or items being wired in incorrectly.

    Sorry beginner here. Can you run the 3000 watt inverter with this if you had the 120 p lithium battery in it? In the videos they say up to 1500 watt but I noticed there's a bundle with the 3000 watt online.

    • @frysee8890

    • @unintentionallyoffgrid
      @unintentionallyoffgrid Před měsícem

      @@frysee8890 I saw that 3000 watt bundle also. I don't think one should try running that big an inverter with a 120ah lithium. Nor should they really be selling it as a bundle (to avoid confusion) if this does 1500 watts max. But double check with Kings of course :) What are you trying to run that you need 3000 watts for?

    • @Cl4rky
      @Cl4rky Před měsícem

      There 120ah batteries will only pull 120amps. You can use the 3000w inverter however only appliances that use under 1500watts. Seems pointless. Better off just buying there 1500w inverter. Even the 120ah battery is maxed out running that

    • @frysee8890
      @frysee8890 Před měsícem

      Toaster, kettle, hair dryer... All have 2k watts on them or thereabouts. I assume I'd have to buy appliances with 1500 watts or less then for the 1500 inverter?

    • @Cl4rky
      @Cl4rky Před měsícem

      @@frysee8890 nah you can use your regular appliances and a 3000w inverter. Just need a battery or bank of batteries big enough to draw the correct amount of amperage. Also the wiring supplied with the new battery box wouldn’t be anywhere near the size (thickness) required for the 3000w inverter. Basically they are happy to bundle shit together to think your getting a bargain when in fact it can’t even be used together in conjunction

    • @unintentionallyoffgrid
      @unintentionallyoffgrid Před měsícem

      If you watch the full video, it mentions that currently the biggest is 120ah - but in the future with technology advances and batteries getting smaller but having more amp hours, it could mean that you could have a larger ah battery in there ;)

    ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡I live with no gas, no grid electricity, I don't light fires - I just use portable (all in one) power stations and solar to charge up everything. I'm looking to add (non all in one power) to my power supplies soon. I've done significant research into available options (Kickass, Ecoflow, Bluetti etc), so this is genuinely exciting for me to see today. Best in price point currently (even when not on special) that is (almost) plug and play, can have an up to 120 amp hour battery - and battery is replaceable. And having the connections for the inverter (also separate) is great. Better than a portable all in one power station where the whole heavy thing has to be sent back if there's an issue that could be minor (I had to pack up and send an 18kg one back and it was apparently just a loose bearing!!!!!). The high voltage connections for use of an up to 1500 watt inverter are great. Portable power stations may look cheaper, more appealing - but keep in mind the amp hours of them are often less, as are the number of times they can be recharged - and they sometimes do stupid things - so it's important to note that. I love my Kings solar panels (see my video!) and drawer fridge (video upcoming), and will be adding to my collection soon :) Thanks very much for making this! PS - can you please please please please please make a Kings drawer fridge that goes down to -18. I really really love it, but not suitable for me with regards to being a freezer as it needs to be a little colder. ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡ PS if you want to see how I live, the ABC did a story on me - just look up Alys Norseman ABC :) PPS - can you show me what read outs that screen has (eg watts being used, amps/watts coming in, percentage left of battery? I do have another battery box, but prefer the read outs I get on my portable power stations.

      Hi there,
      You can purchase a cig socket to anderson plug from our website so you are able to plug this into the anderson connection on our batblock, but unfortunately this wouldn't be the most efficent way of charging as the amperage wouldn't be anywhere near as high as you would get from a solar panel.
