I would HIGHLY recommend you get an oil undercoating (fluid film or woolwax) if you haven't already. I wish I could help you but my business is almost 5 hours away near Rochester.
Look into Stars and Stripes wash from Chem X. They also make a ceramic coat kind of a spray for trucks. You probably would like that to keep your trucks clean. I hear they make really good products

How do you guys do your recycling with a single packer?
I know in NJ having a early pay off penalty is illegal. Maybe worth checking to see if NY is the same way.

Great company and I enjoy the videos. How's the transmission holding up? Do you put the truck in park from stop to stop or nuetral and the parking brake? I'm imagining this to be a wear item for this application
Thank you! With this truck we just have to put it in normal park and flip on the PTO no parking brake

Do you plan to upgrade to a full size compactor truck? I imagine those are in the $200,000’s range ?
You can get a legit new freightliner trash truck for 160k.
How are you doing the recycling now?
We have small bins on the side and just do glass, tin and plastic most of our customers recycle themselves now too
Could you do Junk Removal jobs with this truck?
I don’t think it would work good because the hopper opening is small
Is the pressure strong enough to break down let's say a couch?
I think it would but it would take a lot of sweeps
@@lakechamplainsanitation7226 I wouldn't. My helper ran a metal based couch through a full-sized rear loader, needless to say didn't go well.

I’m in NYC and would I have to get a BIC license to do junk removal? Is there a CDL requirement to drive that truck??
None of our trucks currently require CDL licenses
