Careful, it's VERY easy to blow the top or side seem welds out with overfilled hydraulic compactors. I've worked for Waste Management as a repair welder. Drivers would blow out new truck compactors a lot. Hydraulics are extremly powerful.
Love it buddy! You’ve earned it! From one garboligist to another! I do miss the go go go life style of packers and roll offs at Myers and Casella! Both excellent employers! Love you’re success! Safe travels to you and team!
I'm a builder and I own one but I don't use it much. I'm getting ready to sell it and buy a roll off truck. So I can put a flat bed on it when I'm not picking up my own trash. I hate to lose the packer but I can do without it.
6 month wait time and for our residential stops this truck after talking to 4 guys that owned rams with this set up the Cummins was the way to go. Local landscapers have been blowing turbos on the new 6.7 fords here with 10-20k miles on them too
Thanks buddy! Been having troubles getting a solid answer to that question for a bit now! Keep it up, I've been using the way you do business as a how and what to model sense day one! Still in the start up phase but I do appreciate your willingness to share details on your business and experience.
@@lakechamplainsanitation7226 I'm in a rural county that has somewhere around 11k homes not serviced by municipal contractors. One of the companies service has been slacking (late, not gettingall bags, payment issues ect) I'd like to get into both residential collection and hooklift/roll off cans do you recommend going with a under cdl packer first or a smaller hooklift setup?

Nice! Slightly lower than here $6.59 today!
@@lakechamplainsanitation7226 I got an app I use and it helps me save like 9, 10 cents off that price so today I really paid like $5.98 For diesel

What does a vehicle like that cost?
About 130k
We’re can I get a truck like that?
We bought through Under CDL
So this is a non CDL truck
Buy a mini max
What was the total cost of the rig and where did you get the work done at
We purchased the Ram 5500 from UnderCDL.com . It was around $130K plus taxes when we bought it. I believe the setup in 2024 is roughly 165K
