well, thats interesting. Im starting a Can, Car, Sidewalk and driveway cleaning business, and was brain storming how to create a easy can cleaning concept from scratch. Working around a surface cleaner upside down, and going from there, lol.. OK, now i will watch the video! pretty excited to see what your setup is!
A- Get a long grab tool was also a no brainier, then BOOM, within seconds of the video, what do you see, LOL.. OK, im going to continue,

I remember how I felt serving my first customer, stressed and grateful that someone gave me a chance and confirmed that people were willing to pay for this service.
Now, there are the things I would suggest you consider going forward with your venture :
1- I don't know the market you're in, but I would consider raising the prices, 20$ for 1 can and 30$ for 2 seems pretty low. Considering you are brushing them all by hands, this will take FOREVER. Also, dish soap might not be the best/fastest degreaser, try finding a local shop who sell industrial soap or something.
2- Your pressure washer seems way to small for this, I use a 2 700 psi / 3 GPM cold water gas pressure washer and it's barely strong enough. My soap is doing the heavy lifting since I'm using cold water. I guess you are using the surface cleaner for rinsing, since it's not going to do much than this... You might consider brushing while rinsing to save time if you want to keep going this way.
3- Try to find a way to transfer water without the need for an electric pump. By going from an electric washer to a gas one and ditching the electric pump, you could then remove the generator and save space and weight for at least the new pressure washer. I had the same problem in one of the earlier version of my rig and I came up with something that use my pressure washer stream to transfer water from my washing bay to my waste water tote. It uses a little bit of clean water to do so, but you can't get much better than this regarding space, weight and cost.
4- As you might have noticed by now, water is really heavy and if you get bigger tanks, you might want to move them away from the front of your trailer in order not to be front heavy and push to hard on your pole/hitch (been there done that).
That's about it for now !
Whether you take my advices, or not, I wish you good luck and have fun playing the entrepreneurial game !

Thanks for the video, @CleanCansofKingwood. I respect that you tried using water pressure only and that it didn't work out, but I've also noticed that other businessmen with expensive rigs ($50k+) are using pressurized water and detergents without scrubbing and seem to be cleaning the cans well. So assuming there was some limit to the amount of pressure you experimented with, I'm wondering whether you could share that? For instance, I watched one Aussie who built his own small trailer rig who seems to be successful with 4,000 PSI. Did your experiments reach that level of pressure? I'm not being critical AT ALL -- we all have our limits on startup capital and must work within those parameters, and I love that you did the Minimum Viable Product approach to bootstrap your business, because that's VERY smart.

@@CleanCansofKingwood Pressure washer here, occasionally I clean bins and I only use a turbo nozzle. Works great and cleans bin in around 2-3 mins each. difference is I lay the bin sideways and spray into it with the water flowing out. Not quite sure how it'd work for you with the whole idea behind instant reclaim. Also, that was 3-4k psi 5 gpm. i would say 1st step is get a gas pressure washer, 2nd step is more water because you will being using much more water, then dial in how you spray the inside of the can. For now, you may be able to elevate the surface cleaner than just manually rinses the sides. Look into bolondi heads if you haven't already, expensive but that's what everyone in the industry uses.

as a fellow bin cleaner in the UK and im sure you've noticed by now
That rotary washer is useless for that job its way to far away and wont clean the sides plus it will get sh1t in it which you'll constantly be emptying.
    Why deodorise before cleaning ?
when you've built up more customers you'll definitley need more water , I carry 600ltrs which i can 80 ish bins with.
I can do a dirty bin (after the first clean) in 2 minutes or less.
Recycling dirty water for re-use (if you do) is a pain in the ass regarding constant blockages.

Hope you get some value from it man! As far as trailer weight goes, I'm not totally sure. Ever since I went to the generator-less power setup, that shed a good bit of payload. Also, the levels of the 45 gallon tanks have a lot to do with weight as well, as they will be at different levels at any given time. I pull my rig with a retired police crown vic and I can hardly feel it behind. Hope this helps man.
