- This is a quick short video on how to turn off the long beeps on a Frigidaire microwave.
FYI - I am not a 'CZcamsr' or a professional in any way. So this is not professional content - don't mind the kids in the background. I just want to share something that has helped me. Hope it helps you.
Only people with these microwaves understand the complete sound abuse that is their beeps. You just saved my sanity my friend.

My response : I'd rather choose waterboarding if I had to get tortured than to have someone play either the iPhone alarm sound on loop or the Frigidaire beeping noise on loop. 😂

there’s actually been multiple instances where i’ve raged at this microwave beeping, having to fight the urge to pull it from the wall and over my 4 story balcony. it never, fucking, stops. whoever designed it this way... well i actually don’t believe it was a person, but satan rather. this is probably the most valuable video i’ve ever seen on youtube. thank you so fucking much. i can finally be at peace in my home.

I had literally gotten to the point where I just waited by the microwave so I could open the door with 1 second left. That was the only way to retain my sanity.
Wish I saw this last year when I moved in!!! You saved me, I have to microwave my coffee like 5 times every morning and get scared to walk away for more than 30 seconds 😂😂

This is also an option...it's what I did to my older version before this new one. It's a relay/horn soldered onto the board behind the keypad. But no need to mess with that now that we know the setting! ;)

I built up a genuine hatred for the damn machine. I'd yell at it from across the room. "Ok, ok MFer, I'm coming". Why Fridgedair felt they had to insist you remove your food right away was puzzling. But to decide 3 loooooooooong ear piercing beeps, repeated every 2 minutes, was insanity causing.
I was doing the same thing! Shouting across my office for it to shut the hell up! Why Frigidaire, just WHY did you make the beeps continue for an eternity and for the love of everything holy why so fucking LOUD?! Lol
Repeat every 2 minutes? They're LOWERED that to repeat every 15 seconds. Can you imagine what kind of IQ will look at people complaining and increase the infinite repeating beeps?
Wow, thank you so much for this, it was driving me crazy!! Not only does it do the three longggggg beeps, but it repeats them ever 10-15 seconds until you press stop

Longest, most annoying beep I've ever heard, but this video was a life saver! My new, yet cheap model only offers Hi or Off (no low), but Off is certainly better than three, long and hyper-loud tones!!! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!!! :)

Long ago sick of devices that beep. This beep though, is stupidly loud, long, and could probably be weaponized. Finally, quiet. Thanks for taking the time to post the video..

I was debating taking a baseball bat to my microwave this week after my Frigidaire Professional Series microwave not only makes a long beep....but it will beep for literally hours every 2 minutes if someone left something in there that's finished and they haven't either opened the door or pressed clear.
For my model I went to "User Pref" button, then it lists out options for pressing 1-5 buttons and I think it was 3, and it not only turned off the God awful beeping but also turned off the beeping noise when you press a button. Is it weird that I kinda liked the sound of the button pressing, but hate the beeping after something is finished? Oh well, either way just wanted to say you sir are a gentleman and a scholar. My sanity has been regained!

Why wouldn't the brilliant people at Frigidaire have a setting to have a long or short beep, 1 - 5 beeps and no reminder beep!!!!!

We just moved into a new apartment a month ago that has this microwave. I have severe PTSD and get triggered by annoying sounds. It's actually made me become violent towards cooking utensils and food. Thank you so much for saving my kitchen from complete annihilation. Everything else always says press and hold 2. Well, I did that and it didn’t work. This video has helped to stop the deluge of profane laden threats I have been forced to make for over 2 years, to no avail I might add. I had finally decided to shop for a new one this weekend just so I could go full Office Space on it, but now you have saved me that time and money, so I thank you. My microwave thanks you. Thank you. This was so easy. Before I saw your video, I visited the Frigidaire site with my model number and chatted with a rep. He said there was no way to change the volume or turn off the beeping. I am embarrassed for the company that their support staff has no idea about their own products.

thanks a million I was getting ready to rip out the beeper from the motherboard (because the beeping sound on these micros is definitely a mother) but decided to look for one more you and thank goodness I found yours, Works perfect can't believe it was that easy.
