I love the ground-up approach to building your wood working tools, new fav channel! Just some suggestion, run the sander disk and use a chisel to "lathe" the edge evenly, it will lose the wobble. It's how Matthias Wandel does on some of his projects to clean up the wheels to get a true center. And for small parts on the router, check out Woodsmith's "small parts safely router table", it is a toggle clamp jig that keeps your fingers away.

We are glad you enjoy our content. And thank you for the recommendations - we will try out both of your suggestions.

Disk sander is a must in a workshop. Great work!

Yes, compression bits leave sawdust packed into the toolpath, and tabs aren't needed too often.
I also use 2-sided carpet tape, instead of clamps, when clamps will be in the way, or if the workpieces are too small.

Thank you for all the great advice.
The 2-sided tape is a great idea. We have to test it out sometime.

I love the idea of using a cnc to make tools! Heads up, in fusion 360 you can right click your canvass (looks like that's how you imported your photos) and click calibrate. Select two points, enter the distance, done. No need to draw rectangles and manually scale them. Thanks for the video! I'm going to go finish watching it now, lol.

Thank you, Tony, for a great tip regarding calibrating canvas when importing them into Fusion360. It's good to know that there is an option like that.

Davis, have you ever considered doing a few more Fusion360 tutorial videos? If not, do you have a particular channel or two that would help to create designs like yours? I love your designs and builds, so cool!

Yes, we are planning to release a couple of Fusion360 tutorials on subjects like parametric design, the CAM section of Fusion, and others. If you have any recommendations on topics you would like us to cover, we are open to recommendations.

Hi! Isn't this design for sale on the website? I can't seem to find it

Hi! The design is not available on our website - we have to make some modifications to improve the disc sander, so it's worth making.
