  • In this video, I tackle an innovative CNC project: creating a DIY car jack to simplify adjusting the router bit height on our router table. After gifting my only scissor jack with a new workbench, I needed a new solution and decided to craft my own using plywood offcuts and our CNC router.

Your content is amazing, thank you for sharing so much. I am getting tired of manually making the corner relief shapes - yours are teardrops, but there are more shapes like T-Bones and sniglets. Is there some way to save this shape within Fusion360 and reuse it, instead of recreating it for every corner (or mirroring / copying it around a sketch). Thanks again for all your guidance.

Thank you for watching and for your kind words!
I understand that manually creating corner relief shapes like teardrops, T-Bones, and sniglets can be tiring. While Fusion 360 doesn't have built-in solutions for saving and reusing these shapes, there are several add-ins that can help automate this process. Some of these add-ins are free, while others might require a purchase.
One popular add-in for this purpose is the Nifty Dogbone add-in, which you can find on the Autodesk App Store. We haven't used it ourselves, however, the feedback from the community is great.

Is the satisfaction from popping the pieces right out, or knowing you don't have to cut and clean up tabs?

Oh, please don't make me choose between these options! 😅
