  • hi friends!
I wanted to film a video to give some hope and encouragement to those who really need it right now. The world is going crazy and I hope this takes your mind off all the negative news you will hear over and over again.
I read through Psalm 20 and did a quick little bible study / sermon notes run-down with you and provided some takeaways and things that stood out to me. I hope you enjoy it, leave something encouraging in the comments!! :)
Trust Jesus. He is STILL King.
I love you guys so much, if you need anything PLEASE don't hesitate to ask!

I hope that you are in a much better place now. I came across this the other day after praying for help through a rough patch and this really gave me happiness knowing that God will help and give me an answer.

Praise the Lord sister, so nice and beautifully you preached this psalm, really I am much impressed, many things I learnt that we should always have faith and trust in the Lord our God......as he said I will never leave you or forsake you. Please pray for my family peace, Thank you sister and may God bless you and your family. Amen

    Great Psalm, and challenging thoughts.
I'm not sure he was talking about prayer specifically, but this quote from William Carey came to mind, "Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God.”
We just have to realize that when God does great things, he may not always do them in the way we expect. 2 Cor. 12 comes to mind, particularly Paul's response in verse 9.
    Thanks for sharing, again.

Nathan Cowick exactly, so many times God will answer a prayer and we don’t see it because it’s not in the way we wanted or expected. It requires even more faith and trust in the character of God! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Amen amen you can really see the divide between the believers and non. The ones who fear and the ones who rest in Christ. People are losing everything and freaking out, the bible says Christ alone is enough.

Kevin B so true, people are showing what truly lies beneath the surface. Very sad. But so thankful that as believers we don’t trust in ourselves or our circumstances!

Everytime I ask God for something I feel like I'm capricious and that I'm imposing my will over His. I dont know why... but I feel like that pretty often. And then I think about James 1:6 and I get a headache. I've never told anyone that.

Michaela Venegas oh totally! Me too. That happens to me every time! I actually talked about it in my recent bible study on prayer video because it’s like SUCH a paradox!

Isn't it a sign that Jesus Christ was never crucified and was saved by God?
