Hello from Portugal.We buy BLUM thru Hafele.We have project as outdoor kitchen.Client wants us to use 10 mm. phenolic board.Can we use Expando for this type of material???

We assume that you mean HPL boards. EXPANDO T has a very good grip in this kind of material. However, EXPANDO T is developed for indoor use. The use in outdoor areas has not been tested so far. Have I understood it correctly that Expando T hinges with Blumotion is not recommended on fronts wider than 300mm?

We just talked to our product management and the area of application is the same as for all other hinges. The hinges are designed for the usual door widths up to 600mm. Please don't hesitate to contact us in case you have any other questions!

Hi Giedrius, thank you for your question. Unfortunately we have not tested this material. Actually it should work, nevertheless we recommend to make a test with the material and our fitting. Nun, über den kompletten Film kein Ton (was immerhin besser ist als ein nerviger). And BTW, die perfekten Fronten für eine Tiny House-/Haus-Küche, wo es auf jedes Kilo Gesamtgewicht ankommt.
