I actually really like these kinds of recolor builds. They give me ideas for part choices I might not have considered. And already plan on recoloring this design anyway.
I really want to try to recolor it to be the muunilist 10 Gunship
If anything, this goes to show just how good the new gunship actually is, with the only "issue" being that people simply aren't used to the new livery
The only problem i have with it is its size extremely small for what it is
@@CovBertSupposedly it's more accurate scale-wise than the previous gunships, maybe a hit for playability but otherwise it looks fine
@@TacticalBaguette i guess if its more accurate its fine tho everyone always said the past gunships were just a bit to small
I thought so until I saw this recolor tbh. Seeing it with this scheme and the dome piece instead of stud shooters on the wings makes me like this scale much more.@@CovBert

I may try to get an extra Coruscant Guard gunship cheap to color swap it, or just color swap the main one I get.
Awesome redesign! I really want a republic gunship, but I'm split on whether to buy the Coruscant guard set or build a MOC. I'm leaning towards a MOC simply because I have my own fanon clone trooper battalion that has teal and purple armor, and I think a gunship in those colors would look awesome

From all the ones I’ve seen, this is easily the best color swapped gunship!!
The tiling and the small 1x1 tile in orange really adds to the look, it’s not just a 1-1 swap.

I have the set and it’s really good the only thing I improved was Commander fox I have him a waist cape and shoulder pauldron (the pauldron might not be accurate but it looks cool) But I really do wish Lego gave Palpatine regular legs instead of the dress thing it looks weird. But anyways it’s a good set and I recommend getting it because it’s the only gunship being sold right now.
MandR productions did this a couple days ago. Purely genius.
