Especially if book tickets for old parents dont book separate tickets tranist through Europe, i saw indian old people standing cluess 😀 for direction
Yes. I was talking about airlines which do not have an interline agreement, where through check-in is not possible. So that is still a worry for people who will have to run to the gates especially on a short connection flight. In India most of the LCCs do not have an interline agreement to tag the bag till the final destination. Also the DCS used by the airlines can be different.
When i try checking flights at times i see, there are connecting flghts of different airlines come directly in the page, is it that the website finds the option or if the airline itself does partner with other airlines to carry the passengers? If the airline has any collaboration, wil they wait even if the first flight gets delayed to the connecting destination?
You can request for upgrade at the check-in counter for paying the fare difference. Or sometimes airlines upgrades frequent flyers and random passengers for free.
