Electric is not affected by o2 level. Love it . Been on an ebike full time since 2019. Haven't started my car at all!
Sold my car in 20 and started skateboarding to work. Then I started building electric boards for myself that I would then sell. Couple bad injuries has me out of skating for a while but I got a free frame for an electric mtb and got hooked as soon as I got the rest of the parts. I use it for grocery runs 5 miles into town or occasionally to go county hopping on trails. Can’t wait to upgrade to something this mechanically advanced which I can goof around with and on.

My Sting R comes in next week and im stoked. Got some pedals and a riser steam already, just got to decide on what color to cerakote them

Somewhat off topic.. so I changed my tires to the shinko 244s and a swapped for a new non o-ring chain. I put everything back on, adjusted both sides of the chain tension and tightened everything back up. Still up on the stand, I give it some throttle and noticed everything is wobbling.. not just the tire but the wheel/rotor. Do you think it has something to do with the spokes? I haven't done any jumps or intense trail riding. Just cruising and commuting for the most part, about 190 miles
Boo I missed the ride out, but also a handful of miles away. The wife was mentioning going out there to live full-time in Utah, y'all got the best national parks we've seen so far and that was last October we visited. Love the content on the bikes I'm interested in....I'm on a slow ass rad rover 5, 38 mph if I'm lucky >
7:57, ravine on the right is VERY steep and deep!!!! Ive never seen so much snow there even 1st of june.

What's up guys. Had a question for you all. I just got my Talaria Sting R MX4 and wanted to know if I can ONLY get a KO Moto Controller with a 72v ChiBattery without destroying the the OEM Talaria motor. Or would I have to upgrade the motor?

Have you had any issues with the xxx when going full throttle for long periods? A bunch of peeps in the forums seems to have overheating issues
No we havent had any issues, we ride ours wide open for a long time and even did our range test which went wide open for the first 50 percent of the battery before letting it cool.

Hi guys, your channel has helped me so much with my Talaria Sting purchase and the upgrades you recommend. I am a total newbie and have a newbie question. When you go for long rides do you wear mountain bike shorts (the kind with padding inside? If so, can you post an Amazon link so I can purchase through you? Thanks! PS I live in Utah County and when FedEx Freight dropped off my bike, the driver said he had 7 Talaria deliveries in the past two days! Your channel is at the right place at the right time :)

He was able to pick up a couple percents but you also have to use some throttle on the way so he didn’t get much haha!

y'all meaning back at the truck for load up? I was thinking the same and in Regen mode 3, maybe? I read something somewhere 10% plus is full regen back.
So above the 16% mark and mid 20's ish? Guessing maybe the T-Boyz chime in??
Regen doesn’t really add to the batteries, he ended at like 10 perfect.
How much battery did he have left after the ride down lol
We still had a decent chunk but Mark did not haha he was almost totally dead!

Currently Ebmx only makes a motor for the Surron and not the Talaria

Absolutely, they are deciding if there is enough demand currently but will probably do it.
@@Talariaboys You need to get those 72v batteries on the bikes, when you go x9000. The stock battery is pretty much already maxed at 120a, that way you can see a real power increase!

Is lances bike a mx3? Bypassed or stock battery.
Sting R with KO nano controller it’s not bypassed.

And how much % was he back down the hill ? Did regen do anything down the hill ?
Regen is guaranteed to "do something" on a long descent, just a few percent from my experience, but also saving the brakes.
@@portnuefflyer test was curious with that guy who had 16% what did he end up with at the end
He wasn’t really able to regen any and used some battery on the way down and ended with about 10-12 percent
@@pcicecube Either it wasn't downhill all the way, or else he was really on the throttle, I always (in my Sur Ron before) got 3-5% additional charge back into the battery once I started back down a major climb. I drive a Prius on a daily basis, regen works! I'm waiting (any day now I'm told) for Greenline Engineering to have their controller upgrade for the MX4, with the thumb regen control, before I install it I'll ride my local trail, and be able to attest to the change to the percent of charge.
Iv done 60km ride with my talaria sting mx4 :) love it still had 47% battery power left but could have been alot more if dodnt use sports mode

@@Talariaboys how you like the seat covers do u have to staple them on once take off old ones or is it all one seat just bolt it up ?
You staple them on top of the old seat and they can be removed easily. We like them so far but aren’t huge fans of the ridges across the top and if we ordered new ones we wouldn’t add the ridges. They just aren’t very comfortable
Must be a south facing slope, I was stopped by a deep drift (it will take until mid July to get gone) at only 7500" in SE Idaho the other day, north facing.

We only used about 5 perfect going all the way down, that shows how much elevation we climbed haha!

We didn’t have any extra batteries and we knew we would be fine.
