This movie is a huge guilty pleasure. When I was a little kid in the mid-late 80's, my neighbor had this on VHS and I wasn't allowed to watch it because of the nudity. The video cover art, and the "forbidden fruit" always stayed in my mind... In the early 2000's I found it at a used movie store called neighborhood video. It definitely didn't disappoint.

Man I remember watching this movie a few years ago and enjoying it a lot more than I expected that I would. I really miss 80s slasher flicks before holiday pussyed out.

Me and my friends watched the remake of the 1953 (I think) film “Invaders From Mars” that was released in the 80’s. It has a creepy relationship and a krang looking villain…. It’s also messy and confusing in the execution. It’s probably right up your alley and it’s on tubi

When you first mentioned this movie during the 1981 review it honestly made me think of Village of the Damned which it kind of is similar. Also Happy Birthday!
Like wise, but I would also add that this film kind of reminded me of Children of the Corn, and or the South Park episode where most of the tweens/pre-teens became feral/lived like scavengers. This happened after some kind of doomsday event...or so it seemed {the elders were missing in action and the juniors went f-g bonkers}. Village of the Damned was also a hit in its own diabolical way; merry Christmas and or Kwanza to all of you cinephiles ... stay classy ! 👍✋😸🍻🗽🎄🎬🎥🎭
