Since the dawn of film and photography people have recorded the image of others without consent. If someone's filming a street, of course the passers by will be recorded. We can't expect total privacy in public. And people seem fine with certain entities recording them in public ie govt agencies. Yet have a problem with others doing the same. It's only when people start making a fuss about being recorded that anyone even notices them. .

For some folks with back issues, seat recline helps to take the pressure off one’s spinal discs. Growing up, no one ever complained about seat reclining. We ALL just reclined and everyone was happy to recline. It’s amusing how it has become such a big deal these days.
There literally used to be more space between seats so that reclining wasn't a big deal because the person behind you would still have plenty of spaces. Plus seatbacks didn't used to have TVs or we didn't have laptops on the tray tables that would be impacted by a reclined seat. Lots of things about flying has changed, and with it, so must flying etiquette.
Yeah. It's good etiquette to bring the seat back up during meal service, but otherwise, if everyone reclines, people will be way more comfortable than if nobody reclines.

I'm so tall that my knees are usually pressed into the seat in front of me and it's often painful if someone reclines. Me reclining too doesn't help with that.
