The thing they said to her about having to wait 48 hours is a myth. In most of the civilised world the police have to start looking immediately and you dont have to wait any time before you report missing person.
On the contrary when looking for a missing person experts will tell you that the first 24-48 hours is actually the most important.
TL DR: Having to wait to report missing person is a myth. Please make sure everybory knows it.

How many "they probably ran away" theories have to be proven wrong before they figure out your average adult doesn't just run away. Not even teenagers or kids for that matter. Is it just me or should pets being left behind immediately throw up red flags & the ran away theory taken off the table. People don't leave their pets behind. Esp locked in a cage or inside a house where they could potentially starve & suffer a very cruel demise.

The most infuriating cases like this are in Britain where juvenile offenders get to just start a whole new life with a new identity, and any press outlet "outs" them, they can sue. This is my worst fear that he is out in our community again when he is a clear psychopath. All it will take is someone pushing the wrong buttons. I pray for anyone who enters his inner circle. 😢 This case proves juvenile offenders will repeat their crimes in some circumstances but the justice system would rather play Russian roulette with innocent lives.

I said no at first but it depends on why and how they killed someone. If it's a crime of passion, where they're experiencing abuse right then for the 100th time and they just can't take it anymore. Some type of legit self defense is understandable. I contemplated it with my stepdad tbh ,but I for some reason was able to think about the possible consequences. Even though I had witnesses from my family and friends of some things, I also tried reporting it. I told my dad and he took my mom to court and the judge sent me right back to that situation. Anyway, that would be the absolute only reason they should get out of prison.

I understand and agree that juvenile criminals should have different treatment by the law from adult criminals. But when the crimes involve a "profound" level of violence I think authorities need to recognize the kid could be permanently dangerous. Any kid who murders his parents at 12 years old is DEEPLY disturbed. He needs -- at a minimum -- to be continuously monitored perhaps into his senior years.

I was not a close personal friend of Arlene, but a a coworker and saw and spoke to her everyday. The kind of questions you mention, would not be appropriate for me to ask. What happened to Lori and Arlene is not something you expect to happen to people you know, work with and care about, especially in smaller cities. Auburn is a college town not a big metro city, like say, New York. It was a shock to all who knew Arlene and of course, Lori. So happy for Arlene that Ennis was convicted and to remain in prison for the rest of his natural life, without the chance of parole. I just wish he would tell where Lori’s remains were placed or buried, either that or wish someone would discover her remains. My personal opinion, is that Lori’s remains are somewhere in the Tuskegee National Forest; none of us know, only Ennius.

Each time they would get a tattoo of something on their forehead or face- once they got to the third tattoo they were sentenced to death. As soon as they got the first tattoo they couldn’t get jobs, housing, etc. they were out casted.. I wish they would bring this back for certain people!

However people on the outside are unable to afford to do it. They are unable to take a day off work, pay for gas ect. The freedom is there to do it, however, they are imprisoned by just surviving. Paying rent, insurance, health, food, taxes. They must work everyday 9-10 hours just to have what law breakers are given.
