I 1000% agree! Judges are supposed to be fair and unbiased. I am not getting this feeling at all with her. She gave them 10min when he prepared all day long?? I don't think she liked what she read, which was so much evidence in Karen's favor. Did she not want the public to hear it, that's what it feels like.

Auntie Bev has summer place in centerville and Higgins has a place in sandwich. Within 20 minutes Of each other. Cops from Boston and south, all have cottages down the cape. North of Boston they ave places in New Hampshire.
KR should sue for defamation and attorney fees when this is over. Anyone that doesn’t believe this is a cover up to frame her must be ultra gullible, IMO.

She is awful. Lally is her puppy dog. She hated Yanetti. He was a prosecutor when she was a defense attorney. She holds a-lot against him. It’s known in the lawyer circle.

As a lifelong Massachusetts resident, at this point I have one major question...isn't it time this case is dismissed? This judge gives me bad vibes .. there is something not right with her. The judge shouldn't even have to worry about dismissing the case because the DA should be dropping the charges.

It’s funny how the “witnesses” testified the same why in the grand jury because Lally had a group phone call to keep their stories the same.
I would never let a stranger babysit my kids, and I would never babysit at a stranger’s house.
It is heartbreaking to see John O’s mom. What a brave and beautiful lady. The loss of a child is the greatest loss a human being can encounter. I pray for this sweet lady and the rest of John’s family. May his memory be a blessing to us all.
Not arguing with you but John’s mother believes Karen killed her son too. She won’t listen to the evidence.

It’s unbelievable that there’s a TON of DOUBT therefore NOT GUILTY. They need to investigate this judge. I mean it’s mind boggling as to what’s going on. Officer O Keefe was not hit by a vehicle case closed. I hope Officer John O Keefe’s family realizes this.

There was a pregnant teachers aide Sandra Birchmore (and former police explorer) who had been having an affair with a MA police officer. She was found dead in her apartment during a huge blizzard. The investigation went nowhere. She was known to have been with several officers. But the baby was definitely conceived by a married police offercer. The cause of death was ruled as un-aliving. It was extremely suspicious as the police officer was on video entering her apartment building the night of her death and was only there for 30 minutes. He kept his face turned away from the cameras.
One officer was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with her when she was as young as 15!
You want to talk about police corruption in MA. It was the Staughton, PD. Several youtube channels have covered this case. It's infuriating. It's hard to believe she hung herself given the position she was found in.

Side note: the prosecutions witnesses have the same story… “John never came inside” “we didn’t see or hear anything” very simple story to remember. These people need to be arrested and charged including Lally. No way he’s this incompetent!
It’s the lawyers job to lie. Lally knows the truth. They would have had to tell him so he could represent them appropriately. If he didn’t know then that’s very troubling!
It's always troubled me that they all say "I didn't see him ENTER the house "....that could be true, but it doesn't mean he wasn't IN the house...maybe I'm looking too closely at their actual words, but...

@@technigeneric idk how long you’ve followed the case. However Lally did lie about calling the Laboratory and inquiring about time frame for testing. The Laboratory keeps a log of all calls, Lallys name wasn’t on the log. The defense pointed that out.

@Melanie There's corruption everywhere - I was told by an assistant DA I have to change my wording on a charging document for the Judge - if I had it would've been perjury - I spoke to the state trooper who wrote the report with detectives for hours - his view; he said it would be perjury NOT to do it & something is very fishy! This was Nassau County Long Island over a restraining order against a stalker - I could write a book on corruption.

Jackson did a great job but what made Yannettis statements so hard hitting is because he has worked Inside the Machine. For those not from Massachusetts all of the DAs Yannetti mentioned are well respected Democrats Politicians that all ran for higher office. Including Governor and US Senate. Judge Bev’s dad was also a judge. She is well aware of the Political pressure this case is bringing on the local Hacks

Most judges are. They were once prosecutors & worked closely with police. If anyone knows corruption (if there is any) its a judge. They just dont want to do anything against them - loyalty, career, etc. Sad.

Judges in MA are appointed and there is a lot of backroom dealings that go on. It’s all corrupt.

I was listening while I was working. When you first started covering this case, I wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't have an opinion either way. Now, in my opinion, I don't see how anyone could convict her. I have to admit that I believe that she is the victim of terrible corruption. Your commentary is the best!
watching this for the first time after days 17 of trial. my god. i want to say this is unbelievable but after 17 days of Lally and "Bev" i totally believe it. do they even realize the world is watching or are they so insulated in their Canton bubble that they don't care that others know what they are up to? the gross mishandling of this case makes you wonder how many others there are that maybe couldn't afford top tier private defense lawyers like AJ? the whole DA's office needs to be disbarred and Bev needs to be removed bcuz her hands are just as dirty as she also has connections to McCaibe family. in the birth place of our Constitution this place uses it to wipe their asses. they have no regard for due process and basic human rights it seems. shame on them.

Perjury charges, yes.
Perjury - great example: Kayla Montgomery in NH. She served time & has just been granted parole.
Federal grand jury has mandatory minimum prison sentences for perjury. I think it’s either 1 or 2 years. Looks like a lot of people are getting locked up.

Laly you really should resign your position if your statements to the court is that there is no cover up here. This should never have to court. A waste of Millions of Dollars of Tax payers money.
