    Exactly what I’m doing to my 68 Firebird. Plus the trunk, sound system, ac, and lights/wiring. I’m busy. Lol

    Hey everyone I'm looking for a little help trying to restore my wife's 68 Camaro finally got most everything working again and running , one problem I'm having is as soon as I turn the key the temp light on dash comes on and stays on. Car is not overheating and runs great. Now you would think the temp sensor but for the life of me I cannot find the temp sensor there is nothing on the block or on top of the coolant thermostat housing. Any ideas ? It should be located driver side between the block or head and the master break cylinder. Please help

    Nice job,what source did you use for the seat
    Upholstery.I always liked slot wheels on these
    cars as a kid.

      +Tim Lacey bought everything needed from classic industries. Seat frames, seat foam, cotton, paper coated listing wire, hog rings and new top and bottom black vinyl seat upholstery

    Question where did you find the gauges and dash parts ?

    • @ljgamble
      @ljgamble  Před 5 lety +1

      Carter Decamp You can find every single part for a Camaro from classic industries
      I got all the dash gauges and components from there and the console gauges I got a little cheaper from eBay as a complete kit

    Amazing looking job! What do you think helped most with the cooling? Dynamat or the Jute? Have you considered Ridetech´s StreetGrip instead of Hotchkis?

    • @ljgamble
      @ljgamble  Před 5 lety +1

      Juan Briz I think the dynamat makes the biggest difference
      Also I already got the hotchkis kit it’s already on and I’m midway through the rest of the drivetrain restoration

      @@ljgamble May I ask how you like it? I´m still working on body and are curious as to how they compare. There are a few differences a couple of points I like on the Ridetech but the Hotckis seems more complete, specially if you add subframe connectors...

    • @ljgamble
      @ljgamble  Před 5 lety

      Juan Briz everything fit and went on well still have to get the subframe connectors welded on but it’s still up in the air at the moment with front clip off waiting on new rims and finishing up some engine work
