Restormel Cottage was built in the 17th century and is the most beautiful holiday accommodation that we had on our list for a couple of years. The classic and traditional interior design with Farrow & Ball colours, beautiful linen curtains, a gorgeous colourful country kitchen, not to mention the cracking fire, is so cosy and inviting. I'm from Jersey too, you know here in the States you can hire a Certified Home Health Aide, preferably one who has had facility experience & Medicare will help pay for it....I know what you're going through and you don't have to go it alone. Stay healthy and in shape, maybe you too can take a vacation and stay in a lovely cottage like the one featured here today!
You do have your hands full and they are very blessed to have family that can still look after them. What a lovely person you are. Blessings in your days and may you some day be able to enjoy a sweet cottage like this. 🧡

Oh thank you all......we do have 24 hr care for my folks who still live at home in Bergen county but as you know its very expensive and my dad has Alzheimer's and my aunt whose 100 lives in a very nice assisted living but there's a ton of work and non stop dr appts so we don't sit home and mope. This is my first time writing a comment and it was very pleasant. TY!

Kristen besides the adventures that you share with us, I always like your dress style. It is ao good that you often wear dresses and skirts. Today so many women wear only pants/trousers. Even the Princess of Wales, who has a wonderful wardrobe, has worn pants on her last seven engagements. I get that they are comfortable and practical, but I do like to see a lady, look like a lady. You are a true lady!
You are such beautiful and lovely guides through these cottages and I believe that is because you truly love and appreciate all the work and individuality that goes into making each one so very special. I so loved the UK when we traveled there and enjoyed how very old the buildings were and that they were treasured and not torn down as so many are across the pond. The history is honoured in the UK. I love your knowledge of paint colours and fabrics. Your excitement over the bright red and white Tea Set. Your breakfast meal looked wonderful but Joerg's dinner was equally as special. You make each of these stays so welcoming for your visitors who you invite in for a tour. The lovely presentations makes your videos timeless and can view them many times over. Thank you.

I would like to mimic the tile in the kitchen...just a few woodland creatures inserted into a neutral tile background. You had a past video where homeowner did this also. Kirsten, love your wardrobe and Joerg dresses very dapper!
Such a beautiful cottage. It looks quite old from the stonework, and I love the Gothic style windows. I like the colors, the artwork (especially the florals and botanicals), and the grounds are so lovely. I could see living there with a couple dogs, a cat, and two horses in the storage building! Im quite ready to move in! I do hope I can visit Great Britain someday. Cornwall, Cotswolds, Stonehenge, Avebury, Glastonbury, Wales, Scotland, Ions, Hebrides. Looks like I need to move there! I love stone cottages. You take us to the most wonderful places, it's difficult to have a favorite. They are all gorgeous! In this one I particularly love the windows, the wall color, the floors, that gorgeous brass bed and the very sweet Welsh dresser, the fire place.... well just about everything! I'm looking forward to your next video to see more of the area.

Loved the outside of the cottage. I personally like more dramatic colors and textures for inside decor. I also am a big fan of four poster and canopy beds. Would have loved to have seen it a bit more historical decorated.

So beautifully furnished and decorated! You are so kind to provide the paint names, and close-ups of the fabrics, pictures, and pottery. I’m sure we all want to replicate the timeless beauty of this cottage in our own homes. The British have a way with paint colour, as well as, fabric and wallpaper patterns!

I absolutely loved this video! Oh my goodness what a beautiful cottage and I thank you for zooming in and letting us see the art, curtains and other details up close. Seeing the green on the walls and bookcase made me happy because we just painted some walls green in our home and we are in love with those too. Thank you for brightening my day, I so enjoyed this.

Lovely cottage, very simple decoration, Love you room and the living room and kitchen. Yes adore the windows! The 2nd bedroom looks a little thrown together, I have a thing about seeing cords. I think a longer cupboard between the beds would be better and different lamps. A beautiful cottage in the delightful Cornwall, lovely

It was always our plan to travel throughout England in our retirement whee the children were settled. Unfortunately our health has deteriorated after covid and affected our lungs. We are virtually housebound at age 65 and 58. Your videos show us all the places we would love to see in person.❤

Oh my goodness. That is the most beautiful place to stay. What lovely things they have there. I’m very interested in those curtains in the upstairs single bedroom. The breakfast looked amazing and that chicken from the oven looks so appetizing I almost felt like I can smell it through my phone! Yum! You both look so happy.
Totally tasteful in it's lovely simplicity. The Brits have it right, bigger is not better, it's all about choices and clever decorating. Well done!
