I think those went for around $100 back then, though I was too young to be sure. Now we have clip-on headstock tuners with red and green visual indicators and reversible display that cost $10 (and $10 is far less than it used to be.) Or you can get an app that is pretty accurate on your phone for even less. 1979 Bri would be amazed!
I love Roger's honesty - if he doesn't like someone/something (such as Talking Heads album) he'll flat out say it...but I reckon they are all honest in their opinions. Not impressed with the interviewer (how he say the albums are the same????), can understand why Freddie didn't like interviews...

I think they were the least egotistical band ever despite they fact that they were immensely talented and created beautiful, groundbreaking music.
