Brian seems nervous and looks to Roger a lot regarding touring, as if to make sure they are on the same page with what they are saying. They were very careful not to mention Freddie. They kept their composure well, considering the big secret they were keeping,
Well i for one think it was wrong to keep it secret and then release a brief statement re diagnosis when he was already dying and shock all their fans by making it feel a lot more sudden than it was. Understandable if they couldn't go into specifics, but they could've just said something like, "Well sadly, Freddie has been quite unwell recently and the jury is still out in terms of what could be wrong with him. If/when he recovers we would love to tour again, but for the time being, that's on the backburner." That's all that needed to be said.
never seen roger with his hair so short! he's getting his money's worth from that shirt, thats the same shirt he wore backstage at live aid 4 years earlier! they were the absolute best live band of all time and i'm proud to say i've seen them twice in scotland 👑✊🇬🇧
I guess after 86 he said enough of this long hair. Because after 86 never seen him with the works - magic era mullet again or anything long with his hair
Shame when they came back to sit in the same place, same sofa, barely more than 2 years later to defend Freddie, that prick Paul Daniels was allowed to be sitting with them.
Freddie will always be the love of my life, however you can never overlook the other 3. They not only are so talented but extremely good looking. It is kind of crazy to find all of that in one group, I think there will never be another!
In retrospect if Queen had decided to tour again in 1989 then it would have been known on this programme from the get go. A very difficult period for the band at this time but fair play to Brian and Roger for pretending it was business as usual. In saying that they probably believed that Freddie was going to get better and had enough time on his side for that life saving formula. Who knows. It might have happened.
I saw another interview that the rest of the band hadn't really come to grips with the fact that Freddie wouldn't somehow pull through until the very very end. :,( I get it, it's gotta be hard to try and wrap your head around that when your friend is still with you, making music together like always.
Not sure what you mean by "if they had decided to tour again in 1989"....Freddie was extremely ill and unable to handle the grueling schedule and immense work of a tour in 1989. Touring was impossible. RIP Freddie 💔🙏
@@alexkx8599 after two years I have my mind on something else. After The Miracle was released, they pretty much got started with Innuendo by the beginning of 1990. If they were to tour or even do a few shows, Freddie probably would’ve never seen the completion of the album. So in retrospect, it was probably best they didn’t tour and instead give us a final album that Freddie was fully in.

Nope, It's Freddie. Roger has very bad high voice during miracle. It's because of smoking. Funny fact is, that Freddie was smoking too😂 sorry for my English😂🇨🇿
@@williamrobin5207 actually Roger had already quit smoking by that time. His highest range had damaged a bit by earlier 80's bc of smoking though, I think. But it was still there, like on "Flash". And you can hear Roger in "I Want It All" too.

Roger’s biggest curse was that he likes to sing and he ended up in a band with Freddie Mercury.

I remember watching this and then bunking off college to buy the single in every format. Happy times!
Two handsome, articulate men. Each extremely talented in their own right.

Soo true !! Very sad.
Brian has never been very good at lying.
I think they try their best and they did it, as a band, as friends, as every all!
They were loyal to Freddie and protected him ❤

There's a certain hint of sadness in Brian when talking about the album and touring. I guess he couldn't help thinking about Freddie's health :(
Rodger and Brian are so handsome
Brian was really handsome during the Miracle era.
Is there really any part of the four of them lives that they look bad? I mean, they all look magnificent their whole life!
Interesting Things he is very very very handsome everywhere....
And he'll always be..

They did a great interview &both Gorgeous!
Great! Thank you for this gem! What a lovely full interview. Not like the 3 minute snippets we get offered in breakfast TV nowadays. Very enjoyable.
Gosh Roger is soooo handsome
This is more British than tea and colonialism!

All Freddie iirc. The vocal track of Freddie on I Want It All, you can only hear Freddie so I'm guessing it all is Freddie.
If you listen to the vocal track on its own you can hear Rogers voice
