- This interview was recorded in Barcelona, Spain, on the 20th of February 1979, before Queen's second show in Barcelona.
The questions asked in this interview are pretty unique, generating some interesting responses from Freddie. This is also a pretty long interview considering how much Freddie hated doing them, especially by this era.
I repaired the original audio file by reducing the background chatter, and although not perfect, its still easy to hear what they're saying.

Thank you for this, Freddie never liked to talk about boarding school....it wasn’t a very happy time for him....he loved talking about music....how can you interview the mind of a genius?....Queen’s lighting system was the most expensive in the world at the time......Freddie was all over the detail of lighting a show......have a look at the Montreal concert......every scene is like a still from a stage play...magnificent....Freddie went to a see Spanish opera....he loved a military jacket that one of the singers wore....so then there was the famous yellow jacket...and several versions of it.....apparently he styled the other members of Queen....in some of their pics you can see that they have swapped clothes.....thank you again.🤩
