- Big thanks to Mercury Roadrunner on Queenzone for letting me use their file to fix up!
Partial interview of Freddie in 1982 restored by me. Although an exact interview date for this is unknown, my guess is around late March/early April 1982, shortly before Queen released 'Hot Space', as Freddie talks about how he's excited to see how the album does in the charts in this interview.
I reduced the background fizz the best I could on the file, and am very happy with the result, as its barely audible. - Zábava
I just adore his speaking, he's so engaging, I could listen forever❤❤❤
I could listen to him forever!!❤️❤️❤️Such an intelligent man!! He has a lot to offer❤️❤️
Wonderful interview! Love hearing Freddie express his thoughts and ideas!!!Amazing man!!’
We can’t believe there’s still Freddie’s interviews we haven’t heard of. He is extremely intelligent, especially when it comes to music. Anything he does is so captivating! ♥️🌹♥️
Perfect word to describe Freddie-CAPTIVATING!!!!!
Thank you...we’re being spoiled with all this content...Freddie talking about performing with the Royal Ballet...he said that he couldn’t take direction so they carried him around the stage....the footage here on CZcams is hilarious....Dave Clark wanted Freddie to star in his musical “Time”.....Freddie said, “no thanks...doing eight shows a week...how boring”....also, about choosing what songs to put on an album, and the fact that sometimes they had to argue about them....Roger wanted “I’m in Love with my Car” as a track on an album...the others said “no”.....so Roger locked himself into a cupboard for several hours until they agreed😂🤩...wow! at the end when Freddie talks about Montserrat...I remember that when he saw her he was with Peter Freestone...Peter said that Freddie was mesmerized and said to Peter “I have to meet her”...and so he did....and they made such wonderful music together❤️
OMG… Hearing an interview with Freddie that’s “new” to me, is such a treat!
There are quite a few great interviews with Freddie. The final one he did with David Wigg is quite good.

This is still edited segments from an unknown interview in 1982 Hot Space tour era. Who's an interviewer and where it was recorded, does anyone know?
