My current Resistance build is Poe in black one + 2 black squadron ace... so I guess I’ll scan that card to print a second copy

Here in Poland I already play some games with Poe, my favorite Ello and new A-wing. One of our players love Rey's Falcon, "new" Falcon is much weaker than "old" but he likes her anyway.
You get 4 BB-astromeh and 4 S-foils because it's new, all the rest you have from other conversion kits or expansions.
The new tech cards you don't have... and they only gave you two of each of those. Plus they didn't include pherosphere paint.
Card quantities seem suspect, but on the bright side, you have 2-4 times extra upgrades for each Black Squadron Ace!
Sadly I have to conduct Parent-Teacher Conferences and then run a basketball game and can't get to the store tonight to get the new stuff. Hopefully they'll still have the conversion kit when I get there tomorrow.

Yes it would have been nice to see Chewies Falcon. As for the tokens it's the new and shiny issue. Everyone has a ton of old tokens form all our ships. But if a new revision is out we want to keep things the same. It is nice to have all new shiny tokens to go with all the new shiny everything else. Thank you for the un boxing. I will probably wait to pick these up much latter.
Rey has the highest cost at 14. Use your force to change a blank die result as long as the defender/attacker is pointing in her arc.

Bomblet generator isn't unique as far as the card goes. It just takes 2 bomb slots which not many ships have.

Really hope for some brand new fighter designs. I don’t mind the most iconic Rebel stuff living a second life as a sequel model, but I look forward to the factions getting more and more distinct as releases continue.

Feel this may be go to faction, though. The addition of an A-Wing with two talent slots is awesome, and all around flexibility with only 4 ships. Pretty much the only thing I'm bummed about is Han's pilot ability remaining the same but c'est la vie.

I was dissapointed this didn't have dial IDs For the Falcon or the Bomber. And the fact this didnt have quick build cards
Having to play X-Wing on a budget forces me to stick with one faction. Which they have said is okay, however with one of the events being limited to first order and resistance only I wonder if I can actually do that

Just pick up a couple resistance a wings and you'll have some good flexability. You really don't need the bomber.

I understand where you're coming from on "why isn't X token in here", but to be completely fair, it does clearly say on the back of the box that the Core Set is required. I'm more annoyed that we didn't get the new force upgrade Predictive Shot. I understand not getting Hate, that's Dark side only, but where else are they going to print that thing for Resistance? Unless they're going back on their word that you won't have to buy outside of your faction.
And if I want to fly 4 T-70 X-Wings? Core set only has three. SO then all my ships aren't allowed to Target Lock? (I know I"m hammering on a small detail, but they have usually always been better than this. )
@@Crabbok oh no, don't get me wrong, I agree with you, there shouldn't be any shortage of stuff. I was merely saying that, as someone who uses aftermarket tokens, the bigger issue to me is not having certain upgrade cards, or ample amounts of the ones we need. Like you mentioned about the 2 of each tech, but 4 BB Astromechs, while only 2 of the others.

All the fuss about tokens is misplaced. If you read the 2.0 tournament rules, most of the tokens from 1.0, including shield tokens, are legal for use in 2.0. Color the “spent” side with red sharpie. Done.
That, and it won't be long until we're drowning in extra tokens again. Just need a wave or two where we're buying expansions instead of kits.
Target locks don't have a "Spent" side though. They need a number to match the ship - and yeah we can figure out that AA matches up to number 5 or whatever... but really we shouldn't HAVE to do that. FFG is better than that.
Exactly Crabbok. They made it sound like all we would need from 1st edition was the ships and bases. Not that we would have to color old tokens or have to figure out how to use old tokens that do not match the new ones. It is ok to do, just disapointing.
True enough about locks, and I think a lot of people just find how they’ve launched to be untidy and disorganized. Coloring on your old tokens is unappealing in its own way I guess. Maybe they figured you already had old shield tokens if you were buying a conversion kit, and could repurpose them.
I’ll admit, it isn’t the most thorough or high quality way they could have done it lol. It doesn’t add much to the “new game” feel.
All that said, I actually just enjoy 2.0 a great deal, and really appreciate your content. Thanks for the great updates.
