- Air Europa Trip Report flying from Madrid to Lanzarote onboard the Air Europa Boeing 737 equipped with the Sky Interior and painted on the Sky Team alliance livery on a sunny winter morning.
A very comfortable flight on the Air Europa Boeing 737 from Madrid to Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands. Early morning flight with around 60% load factor, which allowed the passengers to have a lot of space.
For this flight Air Europa offered a reduced catering service, but including the famous pizza! Now it's just a Margherita, but still tasty! Other than that, the views of Madrid downtown just after takeoff were amazing. Also, all the approach over the Atlantic and the final approach to Lanzarote gave us some stunning views.

I remember always going to Lanzorate on Holiday with my parents in the 90's! It's such a lovely island, and I would like to get back again soon. Beautiful approach over the sea too! Great high quality video as always!

I don't like the all blue sky interior at boarding. Later shots of the interior show what I love (white walls, blue light ceiling) about the sky interior.

Are you travelling a lot these months?
@@OnBoardHD I should take my first flight this year in two weeks. Due to travel restrictions in Italy, it’s still not allowed to travel within Italy for holidays (since November 2020 till April 2021) and there are too many restrictions within EU and very few flights from Italy to EU. Instead, travels to Spain for holiday are allowed with PCR test.

Because of an internet hiccup I couldn't leave a comment on the previous video (Bilbao - Madrid). I like the Bilbao airport terminal, as well as the mountain landscape around the airport.
The roof at the end of the pier of T1 or T4 Madrid looks like a mostacho (6:35 min).

There is not a single trail in that minute. Trails are just water vapour that condenses. For that to happen, it's necessary that the temperature is very low, something that doesn't happen at the altitude of those clouds.

No obstante, Air Europa no forma parte de IAG en ningún modo, por ahora (de AIG tampoco, pues es una compañía de seguros, no el grupo de aerolíneas IAG jeje).
Lo único que hay es un acuerdo de compra-venta, pero que tiene que ser aprobada por diversos organismos. No espero ninguna noticia al respecto hasta bien entrado el verano, por lo menos.

Did Air Europa permanently move to T4 or is it only due to the Covid situation?
I guess that when the situation will come back to normality, they will go back to T1, T2 and T3. There is not enough space for Iberia and Air Europa at T4 when operating full capacity :)

Hi, when will you shoot trains in Slovakia?
At the moment it's not on my plans. Restaurant cars are not working since January (at least) so there is no point to travel by train. If I need to travel inside Slovakia I do it by car.

Porque despegamos hacia el norte y Canarias está al sur.
que es una nube rota?
En aviación el concepto viene de una traducción directa del inglés "Broken clouds", ocurre cuando las nubes cubren entre el 60% y 90% del cielo.
En estos vídeos lo uso más para referirme a nubes que estando juntas, no forman una capa uniforme que no permite diferenciarlas.

Thanks for keeping on promoting air travel. Nice views of the ocean and the rounding of the horizon. You're right. Livery and inside look nice. But not in the beginning.
When you entered the plane the blue light looked like the bathroomlights in a club (blue color to scare of junkies who wants to do heroine). After camera adjust to cabin light, nice and calm colour. Never flown with Air Europe, but putting it on my list.
Why did your plane make an extra round of Madrid. Extra pollution (noise and air) should be avoided? Or is there a specific reason for using a runway in opposite direction of flight?

The plane took off to the north, and the Canary islands are 2.000 km to the south, that's why we turned back to Madrid.
Takeoff's are always performed with headwind.

Negative. I've done several flights to the Canaries with them, which are 2.000 km trips, but that's all :)
