❣️RM himself said, that Jimin is the most mature out of all the members! RM also said that he has more in common with Jimin then any other member! He also mentioned that Jimin seems to understand him the most since they both are so much alike in so many ways, so introspective, self questioning & doubting or second guessing at times. They are both equally selfless almost to a fault, both always supporting, & putting attention on other members before themselves!! Jimin is the one that supports, respects & admires, advises, & gives RM the incentive & encouragement to go on with certain thing! But RM does the same for Jimin!!
They actually now, since they all live alone, even live in the same condo complex. They have always stayed up late night, having deep conversations together! JIMIN also is the one that speaks up, reminding others, praising RM just how much, how hard work RM does continually on behalf of everyone! They both love astronomy, looking up, just gazing at the stars, nature, the outdoors, being near water, or hanging out at the park together, also going on bike rides together! Jimin, also has the ability to bring out the little kid, the, adorable precious little boy in RM, which is always so awesome and a joy to see!!
They really have one of my most fav relationships, MiniMoni, because aside from all the support, care, & love they give to each other, their artistry & musical creations are that much better for the advice & support & encouragement they give each other! RM himself in a vlog, discussing the making of MOTS: 7 praised & acknowledged how it was Jimin that loved the song Zero O'Clock so much, and encouraged RM to continue & complete it! They do also have the ability to joke & make fun of each other, because they know each other so well. 👍🙏❤️🔥🐨❣️🐥🥰✨💫

@@kimberleymonari3560 - Totally agree, but I believe this was more all about all the inner thoughts, feelings, struggles Namjoon was going through during the time of making this album as well as beforehand as well! Jimin, as I mentioned, is someone RM has had more deep thought provoking deep discussions with even as Jimin mentioned here, during their rookie yrs. In personal life as was mentioned in one of their vlogs, they are a lot closer, then shown on screen. Jimin made a point of asking all the right questions that army wanted to hear as well as adding his own insightful, perceptive input of so many things RM goes through as leader as well as just in general! Unbeknownst to many they communicate & know each other so well, way more privately then many realize. But of course, without a doubt Yoongi is an exceptional musician, producer, technically, without a doubt an exceptional artist to confer with. But also as RM mentioned on this album he had way more producers and musical creators , 40 involved, so this album was more about his inner feelings why he created & released this album. Plus aside from everything else, importantly, Yoongi was already in the military so not even available, if RM would have wanted to choose him, though I honestly believe RM in general feels most comfortable with Jimin, since he’s always so selfless, empathetic, support for the members in general aside from RM. Many in interviews including RM & JHope have mentioned how they’ve gone to Jimin to share inner feelings with, and to advise, and he’s been most helpful, also saying that he’s really the most mature in many ways! 😌
I have always admired how close all the boys are to each other. And even though I am aware, they care deeply and love each other each very very much. I still don’t think I quite understand how close it is that they really are. Since I am still new to all of this, I am still learning. There are multiple personalities and they’re separate interactions with each other. I would love to be a fly on the wall to hear some of the deep conversations that both Jimin and RM have. A lot of the brotherly love that I witness between those in the group, touches my heart, and reminds me of some of the conversations and things that me, and my own brother have gone through. Even with just reacting to the videos, Jimin has had an effect on me as well even with just the reaction videos. Some things about his personality always brings a smile to my face, makes me laugh, and for a split moment all the negative issues or stresses in my life managed to disappear. Any of the boys would’ve been a perfect choice for this video to join RM for the first initial listen of the album but he picked Jimin for a reason and I can’t wait to watch other videos and react to other videos in the future that show how strong their bond is as well as the bond of the other boys is amongst each other moving forward.💜

Jimin and Namjoon have such a high EQ level of reflection! So that's why them being together and discussing the album is a great idea too
There were some very practical reasons it was Jimin, but I actually think he was the right choice. RM is comfortable talking with him about deep issues and Jimin is very empathetic and is a very good listener. I can’t think of anyone else that Namjoon would feel this comfortable being publicly vulnerable with. That’s not a knock on the other members, it’s just something that is part of Jimin being Jimin. I think he said some things that Namjoon didn’t know he needed to hear, but you could see how much they meant. It was good for Namjoon to be reminded that there are people who know him well and love him dearly. Also, the way Jimin is, he’s now stored all of that away and will keep an eye on Namjoon when they are all back together.
It couldn’t be Suga at the point this was filmed - he had already started his service. We all have a suspicion that Jimin has another album waiting for release, so I wonder if we’ll maybe get a part 2 where they talk about that.
I think jimin is perfect for this he is so understanding . he may made other members listen too but if you notice Rm and the 3 youngest V , jimin and jk are the only ones who still didn't enlist at that time 😂

Jimin was the absolute perfect person to share this with. Jimin has so much empathy, he’s so caring, he knows exactly what to say but is legit honest, he is a great listener and they have a beautiful relationship. Jimin really looks up to RM 💜💜💜
Aww, I liked this, thanks for reacting to it. IMO one of the joys of discovering BTS is learning about the complexities of the relationships between all the boys. Some of them are really close, some are a little more awkward, but every single pairing or grouping is unique and special in some way.
MiniMoni (named from Ji-"min" and Rap"mon" if it wasn't clear) are just... a really sweet duo. Despite Jimin being one of the younger members, RM has praised Jimin's maturity and said he has been an important source of advice and comfort to him over the years. Jimin is extremely empathetic and emotionally in-tune, so he's a great listener... and I think having a good confidant is crucially important to someone like RM, who is a deep thinker that is always under a lot of pressure. For his part, RM has done a great deal to encourage and support Jimin, who is notoriously hard on himself and gets really insecure at times. So they balance each other!
Plus, they're just super cute friends. They are practically next-door neighbors, since Jimin and RM both bought condos in the same fancy complex after they all moved out of the BTS dorm. Their "thing" that they do together is going for late-night bike rides. And before they enlisted, they would also be spotted out together at art exhibitions (RM is really into art collecting and the whole Korean art scene, and Jimin is always a willing and cheerful plus-one). Out of all the members in the group, RM and Jimin are the only ones who are extroverts (according to their MBTI results, anyway), so they both enjoy getting out and socializing from time to time.
So yeah! Long-winded way of me saying that I think Jimin was the perfect member to film this with RM. Suga would have been great too, but I think Suga would have been more interested in talking about the music and the technical side, and less about the feelings behind the songs. Suga would listen to his music, Jimin listened to his heart. 🥲
To be honest, we had seen that RM was going through it since Festa 2022 when they announced they would take a break from their group activities. I'm really really happy he released this album and got all of those feelings out for his own sake. What RM did as the leader of BTS (being only ONE YEAR older than both Jimin and V) since their debut when he was being hated for simply his looks not fitting korean beauty standards and being told that he wasn't a real idol bc of it, being bad mouthed by his former friends in hiphop for joining BTS, the smear campaings they went through bc of their success, but SPECIALLY for everything they experienced when they entered the western music industry, all the press tours, all the conferences, all the interviews, the award shows, the radio hosts, being treated as a "fad", being faced with otherization, discrimination, xenophobia, marginalization and mistreatment TO HIS FACE knowing many times the members couldn't even understand what was being said to him, being held to impossible standards, realizing the industry he had loved, admired and been inspired by all his life would never accept or support his art bc he's korean and makes music mostly in korean, being asked to be international representatives for their government countless times, genuinely, what he did as the leader of this groundbreaking group, what he was able to pull through, is nothing short of a miracle, my respect and admiration for RM is beyond what words can describe.
Jimin’s comment about him and the members worrying that namjoon doesn’t care about them anymore really made my heart clench. I’m thinking back to last year when the members (except Jin and then Hobi) were still here, and when they were live sometimes Rm would say something in the chat. And every time the members saw his message, their faces would literally light up as if hearing from namjoon was everything they needed… now that I know they were probably worried about him, i can’t help but perceive those smiles under a different light.
So relieved to hear he’s feeling better now! Only 16 days until Jin returns, and everything will be uphill from there 🎉💜

I also have the same feelings about it because during those times Namjoon seldom post on social media and when he did, he's with other sets of friends. I am glad he speaks his mind about it. his
Yoongi may be the perfect to interview rm if they are to dissect the technicalities, musicality, production or what not. But jimin is the one if the goal is to understand where rm is coming from, for rm to let go and verbalize what is needed to be heard. Jimin is intellectual, emphatic and a good listener. The members said jimin is so reliable, never jealous and generous in giving compliments.
Also, i believe you watched suchwita episode with jimin. Jimin was also lost, the members also knew but didn’t intervene. They both agreed that it’s better to not intervene and trust the process that it will pass. I also believe that, no one can help me as much as myself and if needed, then i will seek help.
There is a distinct difference between BTS songs (including solo songs within BTS albums) and their individual solo albums. As BTS there are things they cannot say or do, but they can say whatever they want in their solo albums.
Suga couldn' t be there because he was already serving in the military as a social worker. Jin and J-Hope did also enlisted in the military when this was recorded.
You gotta understand that BTS is not your ordinary k pop band, they are beyond k pop atp..you can’t categorize them in just one genre..this is RM’s story and he chose to release this type of music..his next album could be country..lol same goes for every member..it’s whatever they are feeling at that moment.. you cannot expect them to have the same music they did before enlistment..you only know a small portion of their discography..all I know is that when they decide to release the grp album it will be amazing and ARMY will support them in whatever they chose to do 💜

I think tbh it just makes sad to hear them talk about certain things cause it’s not something none of us want them to go through. Especially with how positive and amazing they are. I’m glad you’re watching these types of videos, because I know you’re still in the early stages of getting to know each of the members and barely touching the surface on their relationship dynamic with each other. The guys relationship with each other is stable, they know what’s best for each member depending what it is, whether to give space or bring it up. They said a number of times they can just look at each other in the eyes without saying anything, and know exactly what each other is thinking. They are closer than most group relationships. In terms of why Jimin, I think it’s safe to say that Jimin is a safe space for the members to share what they’re going through with because he’s a good listener/listens sincerely and he’s comforting and understanding. Namjoon once said Jimin has a healing effect. I remember even 9-10 yrs ago, the guys voted that Jimin is the go-to member to relieve their stress and Suga explained that it’s because he listens to their problems. Jimin also loves music listening and he’s a big fan of Namjoon’s songwriting. Just a sidenote, Namjoon has said Jimin is the most adult/mature out of all the members (even though he’s the third youngest) and the most similar to himself when it comes to being hard on themselves in their head. Namjoon is a genius with a high IQ, but Jimin is also smart, he was valedictorian. Even though they seem different in personality, they have more in common than you might think.
Oh, MiniMoni stands for JiMIN (Mini) and RM formerly known as Rap MONster (Moni). So whenever they do something together, like go live with army, they called themselves MiniMoni.
You have to realize that since 2010-11, RM was BTS; the team was formed around him. He was just graduating high school at age 18 when they debuted. Being the leader, you are the go between the members and BigHit. I believe In The Soop, Winter package, Run BTS, etc, shows were a great way for all the members to be the teens they actually are.

@@_LVLUP_their dinner and discussion in Festa 2022 broke the news back then, even brought down Hybe stock price due to the "wrong translation" saying BTS would go hiatus. That was a dark n sad day for Army for sure thinking abt their "hiatus". Mind that during festa'22 they hava NOT revealed about going to military yet, so there were uncertainties that time. Apparently what they meant was ch.2 they would explore each member solo work n put on hold the group activities until 2025.

RM has never put out the same music. If you check his mixtapes and his albums, you will notice that the sounds are always different, even within and album. BTS and the members do not stick with one sound. So in my interpretation, NO it won't be the same. What I believe he meant by everything expires is that everyone will eventually pass (die), and also, his music, once he puts it out, his part is done, he moves on. That art he just released is now how past self, and he is moving forward to the next project, life etc. BTS members say all the time that their albums/art is like a diary. So you can see their growth from beginning to current.
One of the things that happened to him during the time he had off before enlisting. He went to visit a Monk and shared his personal thoughts and feelings with him, and the Monk capitalized on it and sold his conversation with RM to a Journalist. RM was so dissapointed. He said he won't go there again. ARMY's were mad for him. that's just one instance of something that he had to deal with during his break. He donated to that place and trusted them. They broke his trust. Another one was someone selling his information about bus and plan schedules. that one was in the news.
Jimin did say though that he knew, as well as the other members, that something was up with RM and they didn’t say anything because they knew RM himself didn’t know what was up. They wanted him to go through what he needed to go through, knowing they would always be there if he needed them. Because they know each other so well and they know they would always be there for each other. Also Jimin said that he himself went through something before he made Face. And he said the other members knew again that something was up but they didn’t say anything. Suga referred to this in Suchwita. Suga said if the members are feeling lost or going through something, they don’t jump down their throats or nag them or tell them to get themself together. They let them ‘wander’ and go through it themself, knowing that if they need anything, the members would always be there for them 💜
With all due respect what kind of book do you know that only has two chapters? The things that you will learn when you are couple years into your army journey is You never put BTS in the box. expect the unexpected always! Bts ain't going anywhere in 2025 2026 they're going to burn the world stage! I think Jimin chose to be the one to speak with Rm is because he could be for a of reasons jimin is the most empathetic. Is I'm not sure if it has anysignificant but in general Jimin sometimes represents the Army perspective in conversations. Also Mini-moni is Rm and jimin's ship name

Mini-moni represent the special bond between them. "Ship" is a different concept altogether that is equally used to box them within our own perceptions of them. I agree with the rest of your comment!😊
jimin and Rm always go deep. behind 2012 American music awards the car ride of these two is interesting. They also live in the same district or complex
RM has gone through a lot over the years. He would keep the hate comments to himself and only tell the members the positive ones. He had to mediate between what the company wanted and what the members wanted. He had to deal with being Leader when there were three older members who he had to show respect to. He had to keep young Tae and JK’s wild antics in check when they were just kids. He had to speak for all seven of them, often in English, although he has said he is not fluent. He had to give a speech at the UN when he felt uncomfortable as a “diplomat.” And he has been hated on for being misogynistic, Islamophobic, not having the face of an idol, a promising rapper who gave it up to make money as an idol, and even for smoking. I’m surprised he held it together for 10 years without exploding.
BTS is very organized. They had planned ahead everything before their enlistment. Why Jimin.. I think because Jin Jhope already enlisted. Suga busy with his concert tour, JK & V busy with their albums preparation and travel alot. Jimin had released his album earlier, so he is available and i think Jimin is the best person for RM to talk about his album 😊

Rm could have picked anyone to listen to his music but I don’t think that’s what he really wanted. He wanted someone to listen to his heart and be understanding. That’s why he picked Jimin. Jimin is sensitive to others and knows what they need. When he flew to jhope during jhopes solo concert it was because he knew jhope was struggling emotionally. Jhope said he was in darkness and jimin was his light. As army we know they have gone through a lot that they don’t share and we have had some close calls where we thought “this is it.” Especially fiesta 2022. Man that was rough. That whole thing you felt something was off. All the members were off and seemed tense. Jk chewed his nails the whole time. Couldn’t stop watching jimin who looked like he was going to burst into tears any minute. I was so tense. After jimin came back from the bathroom it all changed. He kept wiping his eyes and looking up at the ceiling and jhope kept looking at him. Then the messages to army. Even the messages from the members seemed off. When it was jhopes turn and his eyes were tearing and his voice was shaky.. I felt doom coming. Then it was jimins turn well he didn’t make it he was crying and my heart sank. Then the leader the strong one. Rm totally broke down. I thought this is the end of bts. They are too stressed . But they came back stronger so I hope the absence from bts makes them miss each other and bts and army enough that 2025 they will be stronger and happier! Army will be there to support them as always

I love RPWP so much. Two of my absolute love at 1st listens were Domodachi and Around the World in a Day. Love Love Love both of those tracks. So good! Nuts is great , out of love, RPWP...I could actually name them all, but yeah.
When I first listened to this album, I was like WTF? I don’t get it. But snippets of the music kept playing in my head so I went back for a second listen. So glad I did. It’s amazing! My favorite songs are All around the world in a day and Heaven.
I get why you thought he would turn to Suga to listen to the album, but Suga had already joined the military and also, he doesn’t like to do pre-listening. Jimin makes total sense because MiniMoni are very close and they live in the same complex.
28:38 Maybe he would have felt like he couldn't talk about it, but that doesn't feel quite true...I think what RM and Jimin meant was that even RM didn't completely understand what he was feeling himself so how could he verbalized what he needed to the group if he didn't know.
No .... every single project RM does is different from the last. Even within an album for instance INDIGO every track was a different genre. This is more similar to MONO, when he was also having a hard time. He picked Jimin because not only is Jimin supportive emotionally intelligent they have talked alot. Jimin has a 128 IQ so he is quite intellectual too. This is not the pop genre. He has picked someone who will find the creative choices he is making interesting. Bear in mind RM is the main person, as the leader who is informed first about any problems occurring so he most likely knew all this shit with Min Hee Jin was about to hit the fan. In a live he taked to a fan who said he looked heartbroken. He said yes he could be( this when he was also talking about this new music he was making) he said " heartbroken a little bit that he'd been dealing with all these shits for the past 10 years. Given that some of the accusations in the smear campaign date from 10 years ago and were proven false in a court of law all that time ago, that has to be what the jerks and the shits must refer to. Jimin obviously doesn't know details, because he asks who are all these jerks you've been meeting. RM has kept awful stuff from the members before to protect them. Would not surprise me if he didn't want to burden them before going into army training. I have had one other thought I wondered if when he was.made to be a representative for the department that attempts to retrieve repatriated service dead RM felt his perfect leader image would be used and he would be pushed into roles he did not want. As such an empathetic person being deluged with all these stories of personal grief all at once may have been too much at that time. By destroying his perfect image its another way of saying this is the real me and I cannot be made into a political tool
27:59 you know when you feel lost, kinda depressed, or stuck in a monotony life, but for say the true you know something is not right, but you didn't know what, is taht when you feel lost and other people can see that you're not fine but for you is just normally, and even the people who knows you're not okay cannot say nothing because they know that this will not help you in nothing, and this is what jimim is kinda say here, him and the members know that rm was lost but they just need to wait to namjoonie find himself and his own way, the members along feel that, and is how jimim says , comes time by time, like a flu that comes every winter, or how jimim say come with the new year, i hope you understand and this is how i understand this part, another thing, when you're not sure about something just wait or look, that part at the begin was kinda confusing but i know whats was nothing what he probably wanted to say i waited so i can understand better, and even sometimes is better to look for another types of caption, because captions can not really mean what in the language mean, not saying this one was not right just you can find something not really with the right mean

My favorite song from the album is Come Back to Me. Talking about the eating-just wait until you see Jungkook's Noraebang Clip! The look of concern on Jimin's face when Namjoon said the wrong person in the right place is someone like himself. Some of this was hard to listen to. I Agree with the guy from Balming Tiger that Namjoon needed to do this before he went into the military. Him with all of this inside in the military could have been disastrous. I really hope he is getting freedom from being the leader now that he is in the military. He needs the break. In the book Beyond the Story (BTS' telling their story with a lot of their own words) RM says that as leader he realized once he was handling most of the interviews and questions in other countries because he spoke English, that he actually was representing with his words not only BTS, but Kpop, the Korean music industry and Korea and in places like the UN! He felt a lot of pressure to say the right things and not mess anything up. Have you watched the military entrance videos on Bangtan TV? You should even if you don't react to them. Those videos and the Festa 2022 dinner show a lot even though they are hard to watch.
To me, what was 😮 was to know he somehow limited himself when they've always (since day 1) had poured they feelings and thoughts in their creations. At the same time, his solo works had been undoubtably sentimental.

I'm sorry that our dear leader has gone through these difficult times without being able to express himself as he would like so that he can have the relief and support he deserves. I really appreciate that he got it now.
RM is extremely talented and dedicated, a genius artist! He is ultra committed and fully aware of his responsibilities, which unfortunately caused this suffering alone.
But, I hope that somehow he simply feels or knows that we love him just like that, perfectly imperfect (like all of us human beings).
In fact, we love all 7 of them! They are incredible and constantly give us examples of humility and overcoming, they are angels who stimulate and encourage us!

If you go listen to his first mixtapes you wouldn't be surprised I think, I think this album you'll understand it more and more, the more you'll get to know about their story😊💜💜 that's still very new and experimental even for older ARMYs but it really feels like a continuation! BTS is SO multi-layered, the rabbit hole😭
Yoongi was already enlisted at that time only the youngest were still out😊

At first the album was so strange and it was totally a new sound but when i listened to it i loved it so much
Hi dear. 69yo ARMY here. Group leader is an official position within the company. The leader is the one the company deals with when addressing issues regarding the group. The position comes with a lot of responsibilities along with his duties to BTS.
I don't understand why assume jimin haven't said anything or the other members do anything to him...Jimin said when RM disconnect a bit to them they let him because the members understand him that is how they show thier love and support..they've been together for 13yrs even with out voicing out they know and understand each and every member..

O álbum não estava todo pronto mas ele mostrou sim o que tinha pro Suga - e do que sabemos os meninos sempre se falam e tem dias de folga junto também as vezes.
Em relação a música, conexão etc todos os meninos tem momentos uns com os outros mas se você falasse Suga, provavelmente, completariamos com J Hope - o famoso "Sope" ✨

I Can tell they are very close! So much Love and Respect for each other it is beautiful thing honestly ! I just would have thought that since RM was chosen by Suga to interview him on Suchwita regarding his album, that Rm would have asked Suga to join him for the first listen of his new album. Jimin by no means was a bad option, none of the boys are and Im glad that Jimin was picked in the end. But, some how I would of thought that Suga would've been picked. Not saying I prefer him at all no way!! just thinking out loud.

Personally, I will always support each member with whatever they do or put out, but this album isn’t my type and THAT IS OKAY! You are allowed to not like things. Doesn’t mean I don’t like Joon. He is creative and brilliant. This album isn’t my type and that’s fine. But I believe he had jimin there because the rest of the members are already in the service and also because I think Jimin is pretty vocal about certain things and very mature. MiniMoni are brilliant together and the chemistry between them is so strong. This little meeting together is what we needed. Very healing and very raw and I love how Joon has his whole heart out for everyone to see and I adore how expressive he is of his album. Super proud of him 💜
I respect that! This album isn't for everyone and Im sure he understands that as well. Just like when To Pimp a Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar Dropped, a lot of people at first weren't feeling it as well. I think that's why I like it tho is because I can connect on a certain level with some of the things he saying, its familiar to me and its just a vibe with most of the songs! I hope that some of the comments I made weren't offensive or said in the wrong way, if so I do apologize. I always have trouble with interpreting the boys songs a lot of the times cause they are so deep, a lot of the times the lyrics could be so simple but I over think and let it still go over my head ! & In the end Idc who he picked out of the boys who are not enlisted at this time join him. It could have been anyone and I would have been just as happy ! He is so proud of his work and thats what makes me smile and love this album even more ! 💜
I think its ok to not like everything. Can we not like some of the music but still support them? We do the same with friends....we may not agree with everything they do but we are there for them when needed. I know some fans don't think the same way tho
@@JJordan19821 agreed especially Army out of all fan bases is very understanding of that! ! But I can’t lie every song I’ve heard so far by the boys or individually I have downloaded in my phone. You guys have not recommended one song that I didn’t end up loving 😅 love this album. A true masterpiece and at the same time respect and love anyone who doesn’t feel the same way as me 💜☺️

You are baby ARMY, not slow, still learning. I can understand why you may have assumed Suga would interview but you forgot the timeline. You are just finding BTS so you may not feel their absence as acutely as any ARMY of longer than 2 years (roughly). It's okay, just please stop calling yourself slow ... 2:10 I disagree that this is a huge departure for either RM or BTS - I've been following you from the beginning, but really you've only just begun to scratch the surface of their discography. For the dark/gritty/aggressive sides of RM/BTS you have their Cyphers 1-4, Ugh, I Need U (not the song, but the original MV), RM's 1st mixtape, some pre-debut tracks - and even his 2nd mixtape mono, while not aggressive is very much also a time in his life he felt depressed and disconnected. He may have gone more the neo-jazz/experiemental alternative route sonically but nothing about this project shocked me, it is still VERY much RM and bc he's a huge part of BTS it's still very much within their wheelhouse as well. I loved everything about this - him being more raw and honest is something we thought we would have to wait for after MS to get.
Martin, in any way RM cant invite Suga for this listening session. This was film around Nov'23, where Suga has enlisted in September...
I feel like you need some type of chronological order to get some context 😭(you should watch the '2022 bts festa dinner' as well).
- The 'hiatus' with group activities started in june 2022 and they started to release individual works 'officially' (the rapline had already made mixtapes and the vocal line songs on soundcloud/youtube not to mention their solos on bts albums). They mentioned that this 'break' was like the closing of the first chapter and everything that came after is considered part of chapter two.
- Jhope: jack in the box (album-july 2022) military service (april 2023) (and hope in the streets this year)
- Jin: the astronaut (single-october/2022) military service (december/2022)
- RM: indigo (album-december/2022) military service (december 10th/2023) in the middle of that time he made rpwp
- Jimin: Face (album-march/2023), military service (december 12th/2023)
- Suga: D-day (album-april/2023), military service (september/2023)
- V: Layover (album-September/2023), military service (December 10th/2023)
- Jungkook: Golden (album-November/2023), military service (December 12/ 2023)

- Jimin is a person with great emotional intelligence, so I think he was an excellent choice for this one (tae and jk were busy with their promotions too I guess and some armys think Jimin has another album on the way).
- RM, mono, indigo and rpwp are so different from each other (is cool), rpwp made so much sense if you notice the people he was recently collaborating with (like 'sexy nukim' with balming tiger)

This video can only be truly understood by long time armies.... bcos they have always been with BTS and seen everything that they went through. Last year was damn shitty for RM, even i was enraged by it. Im really relieved that he made this album. Making music for them is like a stress relieving thing. I always felt Indigo lacked something important but i didnt know what. Now i understand why.

RM is not the eldest. Suga is one year older and Jin 2. And J-Hope has the same age as RM. Jimin and V are 1 year younger than him and JK 3.
RM’s music changes every time but I do feel that RPWP is more like his earlier songs from his self titled mixtape. It’s more raw and has a lot more cursing (“Do You” uses f**k like 50 times lol). It’s good that he was able to work out some feelings with his music in those months before military service bc it was clear he was having a hard time (I think of what RM said during the 2022 festa dinner).
It might be helpful for you to watch videos about BTS hardships like xCeleste bts Hardships and various Boracity videos. Even the stuff that’s going on right now (mhj vs Hybe and the bts slander) is crazy but unfortunately not completely new. He even references some things in this album like V being harassed for smoking (Suga references this in his heaguem video as well) or a literal monk betraying RM by spreading his confidences to the tabloids when RM came to him for spiritual guidance.
I’ve been thinking about what you asked, why he did choose jimin for this (although minimoni have many other album discussions on weverse and they have approached really interesting topics before). This is my personal opinion so don’t take it as a fact, but I feel like music wise, jimin is the closest to the rap line out of the vocal line, judging by how he composes his tracks, the direction he’s got and the type of music he listens to. If he would let all of his thoughts out for the world to see and be less cautious, he’d probably sing the same kind of lyrics we find on agust d tracks, because we see this angel aura he owns, and he really is one of the sweetest people in the world, but he also has imense introspective processes, and that can be noticed quickly in the notes of lyrics we got from him until today, the chaotic layout, abandoned first thoughts and self questioning. Maybe that would be a reason. Apart from that, from his hairstyle I’d guess this was filmed back in October, so Hobi, Jin & Yoongi had already enlisted by that time, Tae just released his album, not sure if he had finished his promotion by then and JK was doing a lot of back and forth between SK and the US with golden being released in November. Anyway, we love some more minimoni after a long time

I think he could have done this with any of the members, but I’m guessing it had more to do with availability. Jin and J-Hope already enlisted. Suga was probably already touring, V was shooting his own MV’s and preparing for his promotion of Layover and JK was recording and preparing Golden. At this point Jimin had probably just wrapped up all his Face album promotions. As RM said, he was supposed to enlist the same time as J-Hope, but felt needed to do this project. Although his musical styles get extremely diverse on the new album, his previous mix tapes and Indigo as well as his solo work on BTS albums weave his story and show a record of his experiences.

One thing, since you asked: yes, you were projecting onto Jimin your regrets it seemed to me. And I’m not sure you understood what was being said about why Jimin waited. You got it ass-backwards, but true, they spoke quickly and the subtitles flew by. Jimin provides to RM considerable emotional as well as intellectual support. The album is different....which is an understatement and im sort of saddened to hear Indigo wasn't as freeing as it was but this is his way of releasing his inner tumoil. To be honest, whether ppl woukd agree but i think chapter 2 is a testing time for each of the members. Trying out different sounds....and i applaud that. See what sticks and what dont. RM's music is an expression of him so I dont think his music would ever be the same. Im just glad he has an outlet. Side note i love is use of instruments in the album...very funky
Regarding your comment on Jimin may not wanna hear RM talking abt his struggles from before. From Jimin POV RM did great but as the leader its clear RM has regrets of how he dealt with some things. I may feel guilty if i was in Jimin's place but now hearing how he feels .....i would listen to him and moving forward try to be a better support for him. I think Jimin's facial expressions possibly are him just realizing how heavy the crown is. The man is truly a contradiction and I get it. I truly do.

The BTS concert giant is the one who makes their shows more magical and unreal, and he is the one who makes their concerts and songs attract millions of people. Don't try to underestimate Jimin.
