Out of all the members Jimin is probably one of the most emotionally intelligent person. All of them are quite supportive and understanding and empathetic too but I think Jimin’s sense of understanding of what the members are going through emotionally at certain times is quite fascinating to witness. 💜

I totally agree with you. Also, I think Rex did't listen to a lot of BTS music yet, as he likes them as people a lot and he loved watching a lot of other content, reality show style. So when he gets to more of their discography he may not feel that BTS has a certain music style. But it is natural that each of them feel the need to individually express themselves as artists , and I think in the future they will navigate between making music together but also taking time individually to make their own music, wich will be great for everyone long term.

They clearly expressed that sentiment in the BE album which included dynamite too which was why dynamite still felt within their grasp. The English singles were a needed endeavour. Cause the exposure we know see with many of the bts solos (especially those of the vocal line who are comparatively new to curating their sound from scratch) would not have been gained without that experience. The bottomline is that it's not that he disliked the songs, but that the time that those songs were made was the time when they felt lost about the group and needed to focus on self discovery before coming back as a group.

I disagree about RM being bored and about BTS making summer songs. BTS never had a sound or a genre they cover all genres and they have all types of sounds so they have something for everyone. When you listen to more of their group songs you'll quickly realize that their songs are so different from each other. It's just that RM has always been under pressure as the leader of BTS. They've all been through so much but RM specifically as their leader and spokes person was always expected to say certain things and act in a certain way. He really needed a break to try to find out who he really is and he did an incredible job expressing that in his album.

Even though they said that RM buried a lot in Indigo, I still feel like he opened up a lot in that album about the same things. Wildflower in particular dove deep into how trapped and buried he felt under the weight of fame and his desperate need to simply relax and be himself even though he felt like he didn't fit. That one song was practically the thesis statement for RPWP. It was the first thing we got from Indigo and I remember thinking "Wow he really said it." I was even a little worried that some fans might take it the wrong way and think he was tired of BTS or ARMY or wanted to stop it all but everyone accepted him well and understood.

i totally agree. bts is a group where their lore and context is so so important to understanding their music, more than any artist i’ve ever listene$ to. ppl (not necessarily talking abt Rex bc i appreciate his channel and insight) think they get it bc they’ve watched a guide and some mvs but they don’t. yet they don’t understand how bts differs from k-pop or anyone else in any other industry. so many ppl also try to assume how we as armys act or felt to certain info like the break or solos without being in our spaces consistently. it’s frustrating as hell sometimes that so many things get blamed on us when we’re a big reason bts feel comfortable to explore new sounds. if you haven’t been here long enough to listen to all of bts’s bodies of work not just their solo stuff and most of the important content, you may not know how often bts talk to us about their feelings and how many channels they use besides music and bangtan tv.

About Suga listening , I'm sure he did but he couldn't record it as at this point he was already enlisted and not allowed to make content. When this happened only RM, V, Jk and Jimin were still not enlisted.
Suga enlisted about two months before Namjoon finished his album. This episode with Jimin was recorded about a month before their own enlistment, like he said in the beginning. So it's really unlikely that they filmed something with Suga, since some of the rules he need to follow don't allow him to appear in this type of content. (I don't know the specifics, but it's similar to the members' enlistment ceremony videos where previously enlisted members were present but couldn't be shown)
I know you are a new ARMY(been following you since day one), but I think you really have tapped into the true essence of what is BTS and understand each member better than some long time ARMYs. I have a special place in my heart for old skool BTS (Hip Hop, Rap and R&B) it's their roots and the heart and soul of BTS. and stiil comes out in all ofv their solo works. You said he was bored of making same song but BTS has over 500 songs produced in all genres.Dude you can't even imagine how much RM has been targeted by the haters(not hard core fan as you mention), i think even in the middle part of 2023 haters targeted him when he posted a track "Bad Religion" by Frank Ocean he was listening in spotify in his IG story(which he usually post) haters says he insulted a particular religion, RM had to come Live in weverse and talk about it. That LIVE has been posted in YT by fans so go watch it if you're interested.I have been an Army since 2018 so i totally understand how RM must have been gone through as the leader of the biggest boy band in the world. It's not that he jel well with Jimin only, he has a different equation with each member and like JImin said all of them Loves him so much and listen whatvhe says and follow what he says.And being an Army you don't know how much battles we fought with them and they know it very well so even RM's lines in BUTTER are "Got Army right behind us when we say so"

Such a meaningful conversation. I believe ARMYS are going to accept their maturity. I am an ARMY but I really understand their necessity to broaden their artistry. It is healthy and that is what is going to keep them loving what they do. SUGA said the same after questioning himself for a time. They are maturing.

I have to disagree with u about namjoon getting bored it's just that he was feeling pressured as a leader and wanted to discover himself as rm and namjoon...
1:39 I would say he liked and enjoyed what he made with and for BTS but it wasn't giving him his space to discover his sound. It is like representing your work along with co-colleagues to a larger institution (which is something that makes you proud) but doing just that non-stop makes you feel lost about your sense of self.

I saw in 2021-2022 or felt that RM was not ok. The passion was not there. He really needed to roam free for a while, not being the leader of anyone or anything. We as army need to give them freedom to express themselves and be who they want be.. that’s love.💜 Borahae..

I like the fact that you cared enough to review this special episode. Bravo. But honestly, you and 90% of the other reactors (nearly all male, as a factoid) just barged in and interrupted giving your thoughts rather than watching and listening to what the guys were really saying. I know it's a reaction channel and I do love to hear reactions, but wouldn't it be nice if you tried to be open to new information first before giving your opinions? You don't have to wait until the end at all; you can build in breaks where you organize your thoughts and discuss what new insights you gained and that would be cool. Otherwise, why do this? You could just post an essay describing your views of the album.

i totally agree. bts is a group where their lore and context is so so important to understanding their music, more than any artist i’ve ever listene$ to. ppl (not necessarily talking abt Rex bc i appreciate his channel and insight) think they get it bc they’ve watched a guide and some mvs but they don’t. yet they don’t understand how bts differs from k-pop or anyone else in any other industry. so many ppl also try to assume how we as armys act or felt to certain info like the break or solos without being in our spaces consistently. it’s frustrating as hell sometimes that so many things get blamed on us when we’re a big reason bts feel comfortable to explore new sounds. if you haven’t been here long enough to listen to all of bts’s bodies of work not just their solo stuff and most of the important content, you may not know how often bts talk to us about their feelings and how many channels they use besides music and bangtan tv.

I love this album of RM, but I don't know why you keep saying you wish you could see sugar reacting to this song seems like to me you do not think that jimin has the capacity to be understanding about what are rm what's going through. They are Brothers like jimin say they were aware that he was going through something,. so please don't put Jimin down as being insensitive because he is a very understanding and sympathetic person and I think one of the reasons why are am chose to share the album with him , which I don't know if he did the with other members or not it's Jimin went through some of the same issues that he poured out his feelings in his album face so give him some credit and quit bringing up sugar
BTS and Rm especially they always say the word that encourage people watching them and give thoughts to people who are down and become healed through their songs. They hate people who talk nonsense. We all saw how much joon was suffering last year ,he lost alot of weight and looked so stressed we just wanted him to know how much he helped a lot of people around the world ❤ I actually believe that BTS hiatus was in fact joon's idea because he was so burned out and him holding the most weight in the band they all seemed to agree with him and that's made him feel more guilty and stressed...hope he's happier now ..
U know, Im friends w this musician ( grammy winner / recorded Thriller w MJ level ) and when u are able to see their side of the story about being famous u realize how hard their life is sometimes.
And real artists are sensitive human beings so they suffer way more w all the pressure .
I think BTS guys in the end of the day , don't really want all this success.

About Suga listening , I'm sure he did but he couldn't record it as at this point he was already enlisted and not allowed to make content. When this happened only RM, V, Jk and Jimin were still not enlisted.

Suga enlisted about two months before Namjoon finished his album. This episode with Jimin was recorded about a month before their own enlistment, like he said in the beginning. So it's really unlikely that they filmed something with Suga, since some of the rules he need to follow don't allow him to appear in this type of content. (I don't know the specifics, but it's similar to the members' enlistment ceremony videos where previously enlisted members were present but couldn't be shown)

I know you are a new ARMY(been following you since day one), but I think you really have tapped into the true essence of what is BTS and understand each member better than some long time ARMYs. I have a special place in my heart for old skool BTS (Hip Hop, Rap and R&B) it's their roots and the heart and soul of BTS. and stiil comes out in all ofv their solo works. Namjoon breaks my heart, RM, Real Me is Underground, Real Me is Poet, Real Me is art. When BTS made 'Permission To Dance' I thought 😔 Oh no THIS is not RM this is not his vision. When I expressed this I got so much hate from fellow ARMY. Please watch FESTA 2022, filmed before their solo activities. RM will break your heart. All the members especially RM are so honest. We can see now from hindsight how worried for themselves and ARMY they were, but now in 2024 we see their choice was brilliant and their solo projects gave us some of the best music ever made💯💯 FESTA 2022 is a must for ARMY.💜
