- We had the chance to test two versions of the Mustang Mach-E alongside one another - an all-wheel-drive Premium model with the extended-range battery and a GT Performance Edition - and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to answer the question of whether the GT’s extra performance is worth the money. To do that, we brought both EVs to Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, Wisc., for a day of acceleration and braking testing on the drag strip. The one thing that was left out: The Magna-ride suspension in the GT Performance (owner). That makes a BIG difference in performance and ride quality. Also it has been pointed out that if you lift off the pedal then "mash" it again the car will get another boost in power (video (You Tube) and personal experience).
Drakeil, has what you said about the extra boost been quantitatively proven?
Just like the game Crusin' the USA
Price drop across the board for 2023
Just different heels and tires is not gonna make up for the inferior suspension of the Premium and weak aceeleration onset. I drove the Premium and it felt everything but that. I bought the GTPE. If you are a passive driver, the Premium will do.
Wearing a helmet in a car that does 13 second 1/4 mile times. Really?
Safety first
Probably a requirement of the track..?
