The exact same thing happened on my 242 yesterday. The tips of my blades got so thin. They bent downwards causing a crop circle effect! 😂😂 your video helped me though. Thanks!
Yep I waited way too long
Just bought this model. Very happy except the front wheel fell off after literally 5 minutes of running... less than perfect aftercare service from Mowers direct but new parts sent from Husqvana in record time and now very pleased with running. Your videos convinced me to get this model and its perfect for my few acres. Love the down to earth approach of your videos. Keep them coming. Thanks.
Glad you like it, I am almost at 100 hours now and still very pleased overall.
Got mine from Mowers Direct and arrived completely damaged.....worst customer service. Offered me $100 for a min of $600 worth of damage. Buyer beware!
My 242xd is being assembled (supposedly) at my dealer currently and I hope to have it next week. Been having a great time watching your videos. They pushed me off the fence toward buying this model. I really hope that you've been brutally cruel to your blades. My old (current) riding mower has the same blades that it came with 12 years ago and they're still in ok condition other than a couple small dents from rocks.
I no longer live there, hence I don't own the tractor anymore. I did change the blades once, my property was tough on blades as you can see.
Geezus what on Earth have you been hitting? Miracle you did bend a blade spindle as well.
Palm cross thatch, limestone pebbles and of course sand.

The first couple weeks I had the tractor I took a chunk out of the cement drain culvert
Wow, what the heck! Those blades are extremely worn Its always satisfying cutting with new blades, hope these last a little longer!
53 hours isnt bad I guess. A lot of branches, sand and little limestone rocks do a number on the blades.
Someones been chopping rocks or running over large tree roots! I replace my Huquvarna 2009 blades every 2-3 years. I order Oregon blades and they stay sharp and cut grass like a pair of scissors!

Did you check your tire pressure? That can throw off the deck height.
I didn't but they looked even.
My guess is you have sandy soil you’re picking that sand up sand blasting your mowe blades
The mower deck has a lot of lift
I have to watch out in the spring time when they sanded the road. It leaves along the edge of it that to eat up my blades.
Extremely sandy. Can find a seashell in there if I dig a bit
