I hadn't realised how long I've been watching FD until they mentioned Zak's age now
i've always enjoyed the conversations about what makes individuals superb rather than the typical "what's going on with these clubs" kind of talks. talking about players and their function is much more fun and actually oriented towards the sport than a lot of what football media will typically spotlight.

When people talk about Rasmus højlund,I feel like they actually don’t give him enough credit for his short time at sturm Graz.
I know it’s not the biggest club, but left Copenhagen as they deemed him to far away from the first team, and really hit the ground running, and got a move to Atalanta very quickly afterwards

The one I have seen more from these guys is Gabri Veiga. He is really good and worth every Euro of these 40M. He should NOT go somewhere to play back up, he needs game time at his age, not being a back up and getting his growth stunned. Real would be an awful choice

Im Belgian and follow the Pro league from up close. I think orban is great a force of nature and super direct/explosive player.
But he isn't complete, he suits a counter attacking team, but with his feet he is limited.
I think (however great he is) the pro league has some other talents and attackers that are more interesting and complete for a number of teams.
Kevin Denkey from Cercle is great, very strong quick and good feet. Paintsil on the right is lightning fast. Tresor offcourse is amazing and should play in a top league next season. Ueda is amazing, very smart and trickey striker. Boniface would be a better buy than Orban in my opinion as well
Paintsil is moving to underrated territory to the point if he doesn’t get a big move I think he’ll flop
In terms of strikers I really dont think you can look past Brian Brobbey. Aggressive penalty box fox, extremely strong hold-up play and great physical as well as technical qualities.

Most interesting thing you guys didnt talk about and which is a big talking point in the netherlands is the clause Simons put in his contract when he left psg on a free. PSG can buy him back for only 12 milion ONLY IF Xavi agrees. Otherwise he still stay under the contract with PSV who are also working on a new contract completely removing the clause. It is said that a big % of his future fee will go to Simons in his new contract without the PSG clause if that happens. But Simons has been frustrated at times with the season PSV are having and there is a good chance he will listen to the plan PSG have with him as he didnt put that PSG clause in his contract for nothing. PSV fans are obviously very nervous what his decision will be as hes a superstart already for the eredivisie. Xavi said he really wants to play champions league and PSV at best can end 2nd which only gives them a 3rd qualifiying CL spot which may not be enough to let him stay.
I know that it’s impossible to mention every talented youngsters in the world in one video but Balde not getting his flowers is odd. If the kid was English everyone would praise him and value him at 200 mil

Hojlund could not be coming through at a better time for the Danish national team. After such a poor performance at the World Cup, they need a strong striker to power their next Euros run. Gives him another season to solidify himself and keep building steam
The only issue i have with cherki is his decision making - often in the bigger games he's so wasteful, but it might just be result of poor management from Laurent Blanc
all Debast has to improve is his physicality and his defensive position play

Literally replacing Alba in Barca and even Gaya in national team with 5 assits in league, highest for a full back in league and that too by a 18/19 year old. Balde wasn't even in contention to be near first team squad and he's made LB position his own now. Nico Williams did have a good last season too, last season was his breakout season to be honest.

Because he isn't a wonderkid anymore, he's an established star in the squad. The phrase "wonderkid" usually refers to up and coming youngsters. He is already there.

It's funny how you're calling Milan a defensive team only because of the Napoli fixtures. This is how we chose to play particularly because of the way Napoli likes to play and it worked comfortably in Milan's favor. Roma (especially with Mourinho) always park the bus against us and we've been dominant against them every time we've meet them. Everyone who follows Serie A knows Roma are huge underdogs in this match but everything can happen in football so let's see.

This was the last EFD continental club video ever on the EFD channel! It still doesn’t feel right! Ever since Hamill left- the FD network it’s been downsizing! It’s just sad that it’s true but despite being with for almost a decade now but I’m not longer liking FD anymore because if the direction it’s going. Less European football, more PL, more opinions-based conversation which is evident by the ‘roleplaying’ taking all the podcasts on Sunday Vibes and Monday Vibes is just a replicated version of it. It’s become more clickbaity and less thorough sports journalism like it was before. It feels like FD is destined to be like Copa90 - a former shell of what it was before (and I didn’t want that to happen but I guess times change for better or for worse) but we for sure we are losing something really special
