    This ride to Thirthahalli had a bit of everything, highway cruising, negotiating the twisties, and even a spot of offroading for the Fat Boy. The morning was pleasant, but as we approached Balehonnur, a town that has an interesting symbolism in its name, the hot midday sun began to take its toll on us. And just before we reached our destination, Google maps seemed to give up. Hope you enjoy this exciting ride.

    Good morning dear Kripal - I missed your previous moto Vlog but will certainly catch up on the same . I am super happy that you and your biker friends eventually made this long trip happen 👍👍👍 Just curious does your HD bag have enough space for all your gadgets , clothings etc for a 4 day trip ? Your Biker friend in Ducati Red has got everything colour coordinated 👌👌 Fully endorse your views on passion - “Do what you want to do without have any remorse or regret in posterity” That was true statement indeed - Boys will be Boys - All the fun banter et all - Freedom of “Free expression without needing to drop our guards” Do you folks have any energy drinks or is it just water to keep yourselves hydrated ? Oh yes we wid watch the fabulous Mamu Idli Vlog 👍 Some spread breakers are smooth but most of them are vehicle breakers . I beg to disagree with you on one point that if a person can ride or drive in India one can ride or drive anywhere in the world . Unfortunately in India there is more often no sense of road discipline barring a few like you . Hence say if one were to ride or drive in Europe or US - some Indians might find the discipline driving tough to follow . This is purely my viewpoint. So the authentic Chennai Ladoo is something that you were eagerly waiting to savour ( based on your tweet query ) the Boondi Laddo 👍👍😀😀 Oh here comes the bad stretch and you manoeuvred the Fat Boy quite well 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Yes the HD balance is good but you really rode that stretch very well . Wow what a scenic beauty 👌 I had an accident with a bike during my childhood and since then I am scared to either ride or even be a pillion rider on Bike 🚴 . I might have to get over this phobia . Ok so you hydrate yourself by water and some tender coconut water 👍 Thus stretch reminds me of Goa 👌 It must be really tiring when you ride on such poor stretch of roads ( village ) . Agree - possibly an ADV would be more comfortable over long distances likes this trip - Anyways your passion will keep pushing on 👍 At some portions it felt I was playing an Xbox riding game 😀 Thanks for explaining some of the technical nuances of riding while practically demonstrating to us while you were riding - Brilliant chief 👍👍 Nothing to beat a super tender coconut water - super refreshing 👌 Wow - what a meaning of Balahonnur - Bananas Ripen and longevity of life ( good quality ) - Awesome 👏🏼 Back to the boys banter 😅😅 True that locals in these areas are immensely passionate about their bastion 👍 Back to another wonderful stretch of roads with an super awesome view 👍 Kripal Amanna could do all the things that he wants to do - coz he is THE KRIPAL 👍So you will fulfil your ambition of a Long Solo ride and we will digitally be with you 👍😀 Excited to watch the coastal view in your next moto Vlog- definitely gonna be scenic 👌 Oh oh looks like you are lost .. Good you found your way back - So your biker buddies have a 20 minutes lead over you . Anyways thoroughly enjoyed this Vlog and a a massive THUMS UP 👍👍👍 Keep riding - follow your passion - chase your dreams - God bless 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    • @KripalAmannaVlogs
      @KripalAmannaVlogs  Před 2 lety +1

      @@GavinMathos in my opinion, it’s not about the absolute weight of the motorcycle, but about how balanced and manoeuverable is the motorcycle despite its weight. The Himalayan scores in this area, another bonus is it’s low seat height of 800mm which allows even average riders to flat foot when standing still and adds to riding confidence especially when on rough patches. When you ride that’s what’s important, not the dead weight of the bike unless you’re worried about lifting it in case you drop it. I ride a 450 kilo Fat Boy, never think much about its weight. If dead weight of the motorcycle is such an issue for a buyer, then I think he should steer clear of all REs. Hope this helps, good luck with your purchase. Cheers!

    Motorcyclists are like women who love to dress and do makeup .
    But motorcyclists do that on bikes 😬
    3:26 it would be great if you could tell the kids to work hard to buy these machines one day.

    2 things. Don’t any of your buddies though based in Bengaluru don’t know a bit of Kannada whatsoever? Having such a capable ADV such as the Himalayan, I don’t see the point neither risking the underbody of a 20 lac cruiser. Nor dragging it over unscientific speed breakers and breaking your back under that weight. It does 100 kmph all day long easily and those roads are chicken feed for it.

      Some of them do know, Anant, we speak collectively in a language all are comfortable with. Have been riding my Fat Boy for nearly 5 years, am quite comfortable handling it on these terrains. In my experience, the Himalayan is happiest and safest around the 80-90 kmph mark. If I was doing a solo, I may have considered it, but not when other group members are on super bikes. I have done it in the past in a trip to Chikamagalur, but I found that I was pushing the motorcycle hard to keep up. Although I could, it wasn’t an experience I enjoyed. Cheers!

      @@KripalAmannaVlogs no doubt! Personal preference. I was merely suggesting it as a fellow biker so as I did the same route last week on my BS6 Himalayan. Regarding Kannada, they should. You are a kudla native and probably you and I are the very few that actually speak the language as our pride like Tamils do. Everyone settles here, earns here and speaking it could be the least they can do to respect the state. For any smart guy who says this comment isn’t in Kannada , this is in English so that you can understand this and follow suit.

      @19SD03 Anant to each his own. Much as one respects all languages, one also respects every individuals right to communicate in a language that they are most comfortable in. Just because one is unable to speak a language doesn’t mean they disrespect it in any manner as you’re implying. Anyways going beyond that this is a channel that celebrates motorcycling, food, travel and the spirit of camaraderie among other things. Those are the conversations I will engage in. Cheers!

      @@KripalAmannaVlogs well, to each his own like you said. I appreciate that you use Kannada in your videos instead of asking the other party to speak in English. I have seen guards who ask us to speak in Hindi even though they have been living here for a long time, and expectedly, most including me do not. They should learn to communicate in the language spoken here like we do in their land , that’s my point.
