Being a Kannur huduga living in Bengaluru, this series was weirdly familiar to watch. 😊 Almost like a friend visited home , without letting me know. Sure felt the anguish at not being consulted for places to eat , but also enjoyed how you made visible your signature notes of appreciation for good stuff, while savouring them. Glad you enjoyed the trip, Sir !😊

Hi, I visit Kannur frequently. Can you tell me where I can eat the best seafood? Any place within 50 km radius of Kannur would be greatly appreciated!

@@achakradhar15 Hi Sir. You must visit Odhens hotel in kannur town if you haven't already and have their fish fries. I've loved the ayakooras ( pomphrets) and the prawn fries. Additionally, the arikkadukkas ( rice powder filled fried mussels) are great on many of the roadside eateries just after edakkad railway gate on the nh66 on the way to tellicherry from kannur.

In Coorg, I have many Coorgi friends like Chengappa Nanjappa, Bopanna, Achaia etc.. Chengappa was my best friend, we were classmates from 1st std to 5th Std. He lives in Pollibeta, Coorg . He was my best friend in Bishop Cottons, till today. Somehow by the help of Social media, we knew each other after around 30 years on facebook. And today, I'm in the class group too. At last, Social media brought us together again. Social media is a blessings for friends like us. being apart .
Coorg is like Mizoram. Forest and vegetations. I still remember what Chengappa, told me is that," While we were travelling on jeep in the 80's, with my dad and mum, a big wild boar attacked us on the way. The boar lifted the front side of the jeep, and ran away. " I still remember and believed it till today. While you were passing Kodagu, that came into my mind.
I thank you for passing through Kodagu. Chengappa was my tribe mate too. And I admire Gen Kariappa as he was the first General and Field Marshall of India. He used to study in our school too.
    Thank You, Kripal.

@@KripalAmannaVlogs Thank you once again Sir Kripal .
Yea, were were children below the age of 13 those times at the hostel. We were fond of playing hockey and football, and we were in the school team too. We used to have lots of fun. I miss those days. Its giving me 'The eyes of a lad' again.
The type of our diet was always similar. They eat pork as we do at home. likewise...there was a inner brother hood. After holidays he used to bring apple, oranges, pears, pork fried, etc... to the hostel.
When you go to Coorg, try a pork meal. Its very tasty.

The best breakfast at Gonikoppa can be eaten at Udupi Upahara Guruprasad, their offerings are the regular Udupi breakfast, but the excellent taste is something I won't ever forget. I broke my intermittent fast schedule to eat here after watching my ride-mates enjoy their food and don't regret it one bit. A little run-down but that can be swept aside.
