Yes. Shivaji was not born in Bangalore but his marriage was fixed in Bangalore.
Shivaji first came to Bangalore in the year 1640 along with his mom. Shivaji was around 12 years old at that time. Shivaji's mother, Jijabai, wrote to Shahji stating that Shivaji is ready for marriage. Hence, Shahji asked Shivaji and Jijabai to come to Bangalore, as he was ruling from Bangalore then.
