I'm not sure you can purchase just the magnets. Did you hit the case and break them ? I might have a used set and case from this cart when I switched motors the armature was stuck on the shaft and it got destroyed but case and magnets slid right off and were ok
Nice video. Very helpful. Question I have, I tested my ezgo txt golf cart motor by putting the jumper wire and jumper cables to a 12 volt battery and only one wheel spins very slow. Is my motor bad? The cart only goes 4 mph and have replaced speed sensor, solenoid and ITS, batteries are all reading 6.2. I am at a loss any help would be greatly appreciated.
The motor will spin slow with only 12v jumping it even with wheels off the ground, when it's jacked up can you spin both wheels freely or are brakes adjusted to tight ? Also make sure all connections are clean and tight , if you can get any to move by hand that's no good. Also 6.2 is very low charge and good batteries will sit at 6.7 when full and when they get to 6.5 or 6.4 they need recharged and are considered low.
