My 2019 has same issue. The tech at Cabelas said, if your motor is "Making Oil" then your fuel pump is most likely the issue. Making oil he explained that the amount of oil is increasing with out adding oil. It's the fuel going into the motor. They test by using a pressure test and if the seals you show are bad then the pressure won't be correct.
Your videos are very helpful, I have a 2007 mercury 9.9 four stroke and right under the fuel pump I am leaking oil when it is running, would this be a oil pan/ gasket issue?
@@MaineManBassing that is exactly what was missing, I used a O ring from an assortment I keep for working on cars and stopped the leak immediately, ran for about 10 minutes and not a drop, thanks for helping this new boat owners experience that much better, and a day closer to my maiden voyage of my highsider gheenoe, you rock🤘
Search model number online for a parts catalog. Get the part number from there. Then search boat engine parts distributors online. See if they have the part. Also, Amazon sells some parts. Sometimes I had to call marinas and asked if they could get it for me.
Same symptoms you mentioned I changed and cleaned everything took this apart film of oil on the diaphragm, ordering one now life saver!❤

Fuel pump gasket. Pull full pump out. Should see a circular rubber ring. Replace it.

If the oil grommet is not replaced or damaged would this cause oil to leak? First time boat owner here
yes. the o ring is a seal to prevent oil loss.

Lol that’s how you replace it. What did you expect?
Turn diaphragm 1/4 turn and it comes apart. Be careful as the button and a spring is under there.
