For the real fans that know, there was a video that they did with Landon’s mom in it. Where they both were fighting. Landon pushed Shyla and when the prank was over, she told his mom. “Oh I thought you would defend me because he pushed me.” His mom was like, “well I didn’t see it happen so there was no point in me doing anything.” That’s when I knew that his mom was always gonna be by his side no matter what.
That was soooo cringey and disgusting when she said that. You could see the shock and confusion in shylas face, it was so sad tbh

There was this other video where shyla is doing a prank on landon back in their apartment and he didn't like it so he pushed her and she played it off as "friendly" but i know that shit hurt her. Ever since then I've seen him push her in other videos and i never liked it.

My abusive ex tried discrediting me by saying I was crazy and a liar when I filed charges at the end of our relationship. I was in the hospital for a week. Two black eyes, and arm that swelled to 3x the normal size, a chest tube from a collapsed lung and cigarette burns on my hands from the night he kidnapped me. But yeah. Sure man. I'm crazy.

@@every1needstacos801 thank you for your sympathy, I still have a lot of issues with PTSD and panic attacks, but I've been going through a lot of therapy and I'm in a very healthy relationship with a super supportive partner. And while I really hated going through that, it did make me a stronger person. So I'm grateful for that.

@@evearcana2392 I had a friend who’s boyfriend (at the time) would berate, humiliate and overall abuse her in front of her mom AND dad and neither one of them said anything cause her bf was the money maker of the house 😑🙄 🤬 it was so damn gross to me, and I was like early twenties when witnessing this! But I fortunately know better and would be the only one to stand up for her. I’d get spit on, pushed down, cussed out, etc over defending my friend. I ended up having to cut ties because I couldn’t be around him anymore.

Landon has been doing the typical "act all stoic, calm and cool online and claims everyone just wants clout" to make Shyla look like the crazy one, a very common abuser tactic. They push and push until the abused partner finally snaps back and the abuser eats it up, the abuser will do things like, call the police or video it or tell everyone about it so they get to look like the calm, rational one and that they just have a crazy bitch baby mama or gf or whatever. Acting crazy does not mean YOU are crazy. The people around you truly can drive you to do things you'd never normally do on your own. That is a scientific fact.

YES!! This seems like a classic example of gaslighting and a narcissistic pervert. I know this situation all to well. My sister went through this. Her fiancé would push her buttons to no limits and abuse her in ways it would leave no bruises like push her eyes in, lock her up inside the house with no food or water, hold her face under water in the bath, strangle her and suffocate her with object and so on (while pregnant too by the way) but when she would fight back she would leave scratches on his body and then he would call the police to report her. She always seemed more guilty than him because he had scratches. He also made sure to have some type of video evidence. He would push her over the edge by verbally and physically abusing her and taunting her and right when she was about to react/fight back he would pull out his phone and film the situation to make her look as the aggressor. Having seen this situation first hand on multiple occasion makes me side with shyla automatically. I might be proven wrong but for now I am more than happy to believe a woman when she says she is being abused. And for those who say « well, why did she stay? Why did she want to make another baby? » narcissistic perverts are master manipulators. They will gaslight you into thinking you’re the crazy person and manipulate until you believe no one will want you or put up with you besides them. They might also promise it will never happen again and blame the fact that they love you so much it makes them go crazy. They also often use a tactic called love bombing where they will shower you with love and when it stops you believe it must be something you did wrong and that you will get it back once you fix your behavior. It’s all a manipulation to keep you on a tight leash. They also use the children or the finances to make sure you stay. It takes years for some woman to realize that the cycle of abuse won’t stop unless they leave. And sometimes it can be scary to leave because they threaten your life. Don’t assume that because she stayed it automatically means she lied about the abuse. It took my sister 6 years before she left.

Men can never handle a taste of their own medicine. He's been hitting her for years and as a typical abuser soon the victim fights back b/c the toxic relationship has made physical violence become normalized and the victim becomes desensitized to it, he cries to her mom like a little simp. Also the double standard! Shyla's mom actually reacted and said she would talk to Shyla, whereas Landon's ma made it clear if she did not see it with her own eyes she won't believe a word ya say and the truth is we all know even if she did ever witness it(which she more than likely has) she would still take his side. You can easily tell that is the type of "parent" she is. You can really tell in his reaction, literally texting HER mom to whine and cry after everything he put Shyla through. All I see is abusive tactics. He knows very well that the abuse is coming to light so it makes perfect sense that he would start trying to make his own claims that she hit him, as well to try and win over public opinion and try to give him a better chance in court.

in the state of California, when parents aren’t married, the primary custody automatically belongs to the mother. This is why it is considered kidnapping because Soul was taken without shyla’s consent. In fact, Shyla specifically disagreed with Souline going with them and as the primary parent she has the final say on whether Souline can or can’t go somewhere with her dad, never mind an employee. The law is the law. If they were married it would have been a whole other story of course, but they aren’t and shyla has her rights when it comes to her daughter. so unless Landon gets the primary custody through this legal battle, she is considered the primary care taker by default.

He would also leave breadcrumbs of “evidence” in the text messages so that he could have “proof” that he was the victim if they ever went to court. Some security cameras actually delete footage after a certain amount of time passes by. Some cameras also allow you to cut out certain part of the recording. Do you really think Landon would want to keep evidence of him allegedly abusing her?

THEY DO! The brother said he was always at their house 4x a week and has security camera footage to show it. But, if you have security footage of that, why isn’t this footage being used in court as evidence of the constant abuse? I believe it’s because Shyla started the fights.
@@bellie108 not really. I think she truly loved him, so much so that I don’t think she would keep incriminating evidence of him. On top of that, most victims don’t usually “retaliate” like that because they are fearful of their abusers.

As someone who has been through this process with my daughters father, I really really hope Shyla is telling the truth. This is not a joke, and if she’s lying she’s harming multitudes of victims who aren’t believed because of people that lie about ab*se. My daughters dad also had an unregistered firearm that he refused to turn in and it was so scary. ugh. I see a lot of comments about how she should’ve left a long time ago. Sadly abusive relationships are really hard to leave because the victim can feel guilty for ending a relationship with someone they once loved. A lot of victims can focus on positive things, “they hit me but, I know they love me”. Any form of abuse is not ok! Leaving a abusive relationship is not easy, a lot of people don’t realize that.

Not sure how true it is in this situation maybe he does just want a peaceful split butttt him texting HER mom sounds like most abusers move to help them manipulate the situation even more because 2 of my exes did that both were extremely abusive and always tried to get my mom to be 'on their side' when things would go left because of my already unsteady relationship with my mother 🙄

@@666numberofthebeast I'm so sorry girl!! 😭😭🥺 that reminds me of when my ex shot himself (he's still alive just mentally not all there now) and when he did I hadn't heard yet and my family kept blowing my phone up and said we need to see u we need to see u so they showed up and me and my SO house and when they got out of the car they were bawling and said dalton shot himself baby I think I only started crying because I was so confused with the situation and yes he was 3 years of my life but he beat the sh!t out of me constantly I couldn't have any friends and he would bust the door down down our old apartment to the point I had to move cuz I was so scared of him anytime I would see his family or him in public I would get so scared shaking uncontrollably they all blamed me even though i did nothing to him except leave him after 3 years of horrible abuse and guess what after months in the hospital when he finally came to a little hit what'd he do? He called my phone and i answered cuz i didn't know who was calling me it was the hospitals number but was our area code anyways he kept saying 'I love you carina i love you repeatedly because his short term memory was messed up from shooting himself needless to say ever since the day he shot himself i have ptsd and nightmares still in fear of him and thinking what if one day he tried to shoot me too because that's why he shot himself and to this day I have a hard time forgiving my family for being more concerned with him than my well being my cousin and her friends would try to see him in the hospital and were worried about him but screw me right even though he was the reason for everything NOT ME😩😥😔😪

It depends, the mom could be a price of shit. My nieces mom is a junkie, never cares for her and hates being a mother. My brother is the one who had raised her her hole life, if my niece stayed with her mom she’d be raised in a dangerous and toxic environment. Moms aren’t always in the right…

The whole situation is so disheartening and so concerning! Something I haven’t seen brought up is the possibility of Landon struggling with substance abuse. I have no evidence or proof of him struggling with substance abuse. It was just a thought I had when comparing his (publicized) behavior to a family member of mine who survived cancer but acquired a substance abuse issue during treatment. My family member became addicted to the pain medication he was given during treatment and became very aggressive & irrational.
How unfortunate that this was all going on and their families encouraged this couple to conceive.
No the Family of Landon wasnt encouraging. His father flipped out when they made a prank about shyla getting pregnant and when she actually got pregnant landons mom wasnt 100% like hugging or beeing super happy. Now it makes sense
