It's not the fact that he has left, it's how he has left. It lacks dignity and respect to all of the Celtic fans who supported him and the team week in week out. He'll have little if any sympathy or support within Celtic now. No other Celtic manager has behaved in such a manner as undignified as this. To walk away when a treble treble is possible. Leicester apparently allowed him the opportunity to take over when the season ended so his reason for his hurried departure sounds untruthful. He talks very calmly and in a controlled manner but his words are now seen for what they were; extremely hollow. He has put his own ego and ambition to the forefront The stigma questioning a lack of respect and lack of loyalty will maybe follow him around, the bad taste of his departure will maybe remain longer than he imagines. Does he care though? Other Celtic managers that he has loosely been compared to, the great Jock Stein, Martin O'Neil, Gordon Strachan and Neil Lennon were successful domestically and in the big Euro arena too. His record in European football was abysmal caused by a dogmatic flawed unshifting style of play. Unlike some loonies I don't wish badness to befall him at all. It's just time for Celtic to forget him and move on.

    Let’s look at the evidence:
Celtic FC is one of the biggest clubs in the world but hugely constrained financially due to the country in which it operates - an environment in which BR has understood and accepted.
He left the club he "loves" and "supports" yet left it 11 matches before the possibility of winning a treble, treble which has never been done before.
He tried to take every member of the backroom staff with him 48 hours before an important away fixture.
As good a club as Leicester FC is, they are not Barcelona or Bayern.
LFC have little to go for in current season.
But BR is getting around 2x or 3x the salary at LFC compared to CFC and will have a huge budget for next season.
BR has a portfolio of over 100 properties.
He claims that LFC wouldn't wait.
He has already said to the LFC fans that the will give his life to the club.
    Conclusion:
BR is a liar when considering the above.
He is a career manager who would sell his granny if it would improve his personal position, a snake oil salesman, good at his job but dispassionate and with little thought to those who he has misled - fans, players and staff.
I am personally looking forward to him trying to but Keiran Tierney for £20-£25m and KT telling him to fuck off. Why? Because KT has morals and I am bitter.
Good luck to LFC (not to BR).

Timing of the move seems very odd. Know he had issues with the Celtic board but why anger the Celtic fans like this? Had he just waited til the end of the season he could've left a Celtic legend, instead he leaves a Judas. Says he needed to take the emotion out of the decision but he must know he's wrecked his legacy.

Oh behave Celtic are only the best in there shit League winning 10 in a row and domestic cups it really ain't a achievement come on its easy times there for Celtic rest competition is garbage and they get showing up in Europe all the time ffs, use will get twenty in a row and many domestic cups but never the CL or the EL cause use play pish teams week in week out, your board are only interested in beating rangers winning the league, Celtic big club but there not interested taking Celtic Futher , tight fat asses they are, be ok if other Scottish teams had same budget quality might make it interesting and with rangers not the team they where is the most easy 9 in a row even ten in a row is like England getting to the semi final of the 2018 WC lol easy days , but rangers are dead use say but Scottish fitba is dead and has been for many many years

He's leaving one of the biggest clubs in world football for the BIGGEST league in world football. If Rodgers wasn't performing at Celtic, he would have been sacked: why people don't realise, loyalty is in short supply in football is beyond me. I understand why an attempt to replicate Leicster's success of past, provided the tipping balance for Rodgers.

Waffling a bit like top management, politician style, answers questions that aren't asked.
Can't deny what was done for Celtic in his time, but what has been done was with a high percentage of inherited and academy players, Four titles and numerous cups before he arrived, he was the manager but it was the team who done it.
There is a few he bought for Celtic that don't get a game, and i'm pretty sure Neil Lennon has a much better eye for a player than BR, look at who NL was instrumental in bringing in on NL's first stint..
I've no animosity to him now the winds have calmed and we have our captain and new manager steadying the Celtic ship and guiding us to a treble treble.
One thing i won't miss is "like i say", even though when he hasn't told you anything!
    Good luck to him.

The Celtic fans who wanted to sack him early in the season now up in arms he left them. He made a decision players make all the time, for greater wealth and opportunity. 3x3 is a fair record you can't deny him that but it is with THE dominant club in a lopsided league, he'll find it hard at Leicester.
