@@robertodonnell8693 get it. Really do. The way he carried himself I'd have expected him to stay for the 10 then leave. But then again it's up to him. He's a grown man and he's a professional footballer manager. If he wants to leave then that's up to him. I think he'd have stayed as long as the board matched his ambition. They clearly didn't and he left. He might be Celtic through and through but he's no mug, if he feels his employers are taking the piss happy to ride on the wave of trebles with no ambition above that, I can understand why he left. Fact is though, if that's why he left, we can be sure he's managed to get his euro ambitions backed by the board this time around. No other manager within Celtics grasp would get the war chest he'll be getting. He's proven himself here already and quite frankly is above our weight. If he wasn't a Celtic fan I don't think he'd look twice at us. But he is, and he's here, and we're having a crack at Europe. Hopefully winning games will ease the pain but he's the best man for the job by a mile, so enjoy the ride because this period could be something special! 🍀

He could walk in to a job at many clubs, many good managers gave been in similar positions due to disharmony amongst the squad with poor results because the club lacks the same ambition as the manager, so don't kid yourself.
As for a tin-pot league, or 2 horse race, we are in a unique position with qualifying for Europe each season, boosting the value of players on a bigger stage, and generating decent revenue that domestic football cannot offer.

He's always been articulate and speaks brilliantly. His compliments of Ange are a good thing, I'll always remember how Deila got off on the wrong foot questioning the fitness of Lennons side. I don't expect trebles every year but with this guy at the helm, I'm pretty sure we can retain our league title for a few years yet and maybe have a wee run in Europe too. I'd like him to use the depth of squad the way Ange did. Lots of changes, lots of freshness. We are financially superior to our domestic rivals and in the winter breaks, we can ensure we stay ahead with clever recruitment.

@@jmcc2275 yes but he'd make five changes most weeks throughout the game. Meaning that our flair players were doing their bit then getting rested or spared for the next game etc. Some just given one half others brought on on the hour mark etc.
