- Police clashed with student activists in Texas and California and new encampments sprouted at Harvard as pro-Palestinian protests continued to spread across American campuses.
At least ten students were arrested in protests at the University of Texas at Austin on Wednesday as dozens of police and state troopers formed a line to prevent marches through the campus.
Officers removed several tents at the University of Southern California and arrested at least three at the California Polytechnic State University, Humboldt. It follows nine arrests at the University of Minnesota this week, 120 at New York University and 60 at Yale.
