Another of those perfect days on the water!
When Jetskifishing is easy, magical conditions with the big fish biting.
7" Gulp King Shrimp doing the business, we were done and dusted before we knew it.
My Daiwa Saltiga Reel was screaming with the Daiwa Commander Rod fully bent over.
where are you fishing , looks awesome
yeah I would been keen on the king shrimp
Hi Scott, email me at andrew@adventurefishing.pro and I can put together your order of King Shrimps
How deep were you there Andrew.. By the way just bought a new Trophy, now my 3rd SeaDoo from the local guys 👍
This session was at approximately 50 metres deep, great to hear you are on your third ski👍
Hi. Great content as always.
Just wondering do you have a tow tap on your Seadoo?
I connected them on my earlier model skis but haven’t on my current… if needing to tow I will just have it towed at low speed.
Hi Andrew,
What is your experience with windshield? Is it really necessary accessory ?
Cheers
Hi, I highly rate the windshield, works well on those light spray days, eliminates a lot of the wind noise and you don’t lose your hat :-)
Hi Andrew,
Would love to order some king Shrimps
Are you in New Zealand? I can send you a message with what ones I have available in stock…
@@jetskifishing
Hi Andrew, yes I am in Timaru Sth Island and have just purchased a Fish Pro Trophy. Am also interested in other products you have on your website. Please advise
I am also looking forward to heading up north and participating in one of your fishing trip in the near future
@@MaruMoffat great to hear you too have purchased a Sea-Doo Trophy 👍 I can send you those baits and other gear. Email andrew@adventurefishing.pro and I can work through with you what you need.
Hey Andrew - I forgot to ask if you have an auxiliary fuel tank fitted for those longer trips? If so, no issues with the Seadoo warranty? Cheers
Hi David, no need for an auxiliary tank, the 70 litre main tank has approximately 170 kilometres range on a flat water day (it actually holds 75 if filling up to the cap)
You can also carry a 15 litre LinQ caddie if needing for peace of mind 👍
hi Andrew whats the best way to set those king shrimps it looks like the hooks halfway down the body do you go through the side or the top?
Hi, you still have the hook point enter the centre of the top of the bait, then try and push the hook through the middle of the bait as far as you can before popping out the curve of the hook/ barb if the bait. I find the 7/0 hook works best 👍
Hi Andrew do you use fishfinder to locate the fish while jetski fishing? I found it useless while kayak fishing in shore
💯%
I always hunt for the fish first with the Garmin, before casting my softbaits 👍
Great vid thanks Andrew! What weight jighead was that and hook size? Looked big! Cheers
Hi David, thanks for watching, it’s a longer hook for the bigger baits, using 2 ounce. Here they are jetskifishing.co.nz/products/jig-head-berkley-nitro-series-saltwater-pro?_pos=2&_sid=070cb33b4&_ss=r&variant=32296150728785
Always enjoy your videos mate. Are you fishing over sand or structure with the shrimp? Do you find it works better on either one?
@@livingimprovements4382 alway nice to hear you guys enjoy my content. The vids take a lot of work to create and I can often miss out on a lot of fishing time while shooting them. This particular session I was fishing very close to some foul ground in 55 metres, then for the last bigger fish I was fishing more over the sand. The big King Shrimps can get hit anywhere in the water column when the fish are hungry 👍
