Yeah I'll stick to every other gun oil, or just buy cleanz oil. Not paying that much for so little personally.

@@midwestgunworksNo it’s not, you were just paid to swing off their nutsack for marketing money.

Two thoughts then a comment about the product. Folks say to pricey. Not knowing what you shoot, how much did you pay for your firearm? For those that are happy with something else, don't switch. Now, I have been using Gun Butter for almost 10 years and it works great. I happen to own 3 Glocks and one 1911. I use the oil on the Glocks where Glock says to oil it (a little dab will do you) and a pen oiler or the bottle will last me for almost two years. I use one dab of the grease on the trigger bar. On the 1911 I use the grease for the rails. Again, that is just what I use and it has done well for me. Life is short, to each his own.

been using Ballistol & Wolf oil & Weapon Shield, do love the pen applicators - good video

Yes, I have some larger syringes, with no needle that I could apply just about anything to a vital pistol/gun part. I think part of the excessive alure is the plastic medical looking device, just to drive up the price. In the event a totally hot nurse came with the package I may be singing a different tune.

Where do you get your weapon shield at? I’ve been wanting to try it but can’t find it.

I have seen/ heard this stuff is the latest craze since sliced bread. This may be so. There are many products that have proven the test of time as well as the enviorment friendly products. I have seen some that make some sense, such as the less toxic version of Hoppes #9 barrel & slide break free. This stuff is costic. I have used the Hoppes Elite which is more user friendly. I looked at the price of this stuff and the price is very expensive. I thought I saw 20-25.00 for 2/3 of an ounce. I would use it on my expensive barrels etc, but not on my Glock 19. I am going to do some independent research and see what I can come up on my own with out spending an arm & leg- this is like liquid gold or cocaine. Neither of which I want or would purchase.

Do you use this stuff for surface protection too? Or just on high friction areas, and stick to a normal oil for protective layers?

Just use mainly for moving parts. Very small amounts. Was developed mainly for glocks and polymer guns. It's fantastic.

I have a bottle of each, I prefer the gun butter, however the Lucas oil is fine as well. I usually use Ballistol to clean.

Try Corrosion-X and you will never go back to anything else, especially not gun butter which only lubes and is over priced.
Corrosion-X softens carbon, lubes and prevents rust better than just about everything else out there except maybe Weaponshield which has been discontinued for some reason.

By a quart of mobil 1 for 6 bucks and fill up a needle applicator. Youll have refills for decades.
