As a center midfielder always! look over your shoulders (shoulder check) whenever you can. You need to be aware of everything around you and Iniesta does it a lot. It really safes a lot of time and since I implemented it to my game I have become much better. :D

With me I’m very good technically. I can do my job very well but when I play a full game 11v11 or 7v7 I never keep the ball and try dribble past players… I always pass rather than trying to take on the defender which im fully capable of doing. I play in the midfield

Good video, one thing tho, if you could keep the score up in the corner, it's easier for us to understand why Iniesta (being the one who controls most games) takes the choices he does when we know the score. Example: He would most likely keep possesion rather than rush when Barca is up 3-0. The key to playing midfield or any upbuilding positions is to know when to attack, and when not to. Haven't seen your more recent vids, so i dunno if you do that now. Thanks :)

Something people don’t talk about is this: look at time 1:59. Why did he give the pass forward rather than directly next to him (the guy without a cover). Because it allows the recibe to give the ball to an empty guy and then run to space. This vision is genius, a decision that simple can open many possibilities.

Hey Dave! There is this question i've been wondering. I'm a CDM, i really don't know how i can train defenviely. Can you help?
Train your athletic ablities first.Then go on youtube and watch how busquets postioning is when the opposition has the ball and his timing of the tackle.Then during a match pratice them exactly like busquets then you will keep getting better and better with every match

Layton Neves also maybe play a couple games at cb to practice defence
Watch the match between barca and roma and see how roma completely destroyed barca's busquet and iniesta in the midfield.
Train on your stamina, ability to read the game and control the game at the midfield, try some long balls accuracy, jumping power and pace as a boost

As a midfielder is it ok for me to dribble slot but not overly dribble maybe take 1 or 2 players when needed or do I always need to 1 2 pass
