It's great to be back in the Philippines! In this video I show the relaxed, empty beach in Bohol called Doljo beach. Personally, I'm not a fan of the crowded Alona Beach area, so I wanted to show you a different beach in Bohol, Philippines if you prefer to get away from the crowds also. Bohol, Philippines is most well known for the chocolate hills and tarsiers, however, they are far from this area, so I personally prefer staying on Loboc River when visiting the Chocolate Hills and tarsiers. I always wanted to discover the south east Asia and my plan was Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. so I started with Thailand in 2016, then in 2017 I went to the Philippines and my plans changed it’s been the Philippines since 2017 until now, except during the pandemic. I completely fall in love with this beautiful country and I think it will be 2050 and i still be going to the Philippines and discover something new every year.

The first video I saw of yours had similar vibes to this one and got my following your channel. I love it when you meet the locals and talk with the children. So many vloggers ignore the children or find them annoying; but they really are entertaining and fun to watch.
In my opinion, I think most Filipinos like to stay where there are people. We tend to enjoy the crowded places rather than the peaceful. Because staying at home is already at peace so seeing a lot of people makes us happy and for me I enjoy watching other people. I guess we consider places without people kinda sad.❤

Just back from a month in Cebu and Samar, spent some time on some lovely beaches in Samar near Calbayog. You're right about the people, so welcoming and friendly every security guard are unbelievably polite. Can't wait for my next trip back. Love the fact the kids have pride in their beaches, many hands making light work. Loving the videos as usual Jonathan

For all the places I have visited in Philippines. There's something about Bohol that makes me want to retire there.
It could be because it hasn't been over developed like the other islands, the variety of natural wonders,
the people we've met at Sikatuna Bar and Alona Beach, and many more. Great memories.

You should! Anda is still my favorite beach town in Bohol, but that’s very far from where I live. This beach is only 15-20 minutes from where I live, so I can get here more easily. Thanks for watching!

It's a great spot! I usually go in the morning and it has been fairly empty. Then that strip mall opens at 10am.. Also, the sun sets just on the other side of the street, that part of the island is narrow, so you can get over there for a nice sunset on the other side too
I like this place every night we walked .such quite and clean.Glad your back Jonathan.
Kids always think that USA is more beautiful than the Philippines and they don't know they live in much better place.❤the place is also pet friendly and the guards are taking care of it.so this is my fav place in panglao .

People are likely in Boracay, Palawan or Siargao this time which may not be the best for that part of Bohol but definitely great for the beach and nature overall.
