    Sick. I have yhe 103 also. Did the Woods 222, S&S cam plate. Cant afford to do the build I want just yet so I'm gonna get the heads ported with some bigger intakes and the intake and call it good for now. Great idea on the crate.

    Wow i have a twin cam 110 with 10:5:1 compression fueling 594 cams and screamin eagle mva heads and i only made 105 hp 116 torque.

    • @joeronomo
      @joeronomo  Před 8 měsíci +2

      those are insanely low numbers. my bone stock 103 with just cams, sharkroads 2 into 1 and fuel moto air cleaner made 106hp 116tq

    • @racex3721
      @racex3721 Před 8 měsíci

      @@joeronomo yeah thats why I've been so frustrated I was told twin cams aren't capable of putting out higher numbers its pretty much maxed out. Harley tuned it in the summer they said that might be why. I have no ideas what I should be seeing with my setup I was thinking closer to 116 horsepower and 124 torque.

    • @joeronomo
      @joeronomo  Před 8 měsíci +1

      @racex3721 i would never go to a harley shop for performance. they are lost when it comes to power.. look up shop67, a1, zippers, fuelmoto, gmr, hillside cycle.. all of those places can make you really good power. you shpuld be in the mid 120's lower 130's with a 110 setup.. theres a youtube video of a zippers 110 making 150hp actually lol

    • @racex3721
      @racex3721 Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@joeronomo it wasn't my first choice I got the extended warranty and good thing I did because piston cracked because the previous owner took it to a shop and didn't have the clearance measured out correctly so Harley replaced the cylinders pistons and heads etc. I might have to save up some and take it too a good indy shop. The 113 kit by fuel moto looks promising too.

    I find it odd that Harley owners are willing to mortgage a house to find speed and horsepower that comes stock on literally every other brand. They're also the only owners who constantly quote torque numbers. Torque is important if you're pulling a stump out of the ground, not so much if you're trying to get a bike to go faster than 80 mph.

    • @kadsafm8288
      @kadsafm8288 Před 3 měsíci

      Morgage a house? Lol, how poor are you? Ss 124 hot setup is $6500, a ss143 crate motor is only 12k. 131 and 162 hp respectively. No other "stock bike" is touching that

    • @jimdavidson7771
      @jimdavidson7771 Před 3 měsíci

      @@kadsafm8288 ok, maybe not a mortgage, but thanks for making my point for me anyway! Literally every other make has speed and hp built in, going out the showroom door.

      Ive got a 19 cvo street glide with a 117 c.i. Ive done a stage 2 to it and get 117 hp but I get 132 lb ft of torque. I have absolutely no problem busting 80, 90 or even 115 mph and just keeps pulling. Its no sport bike but its a hell of a lot of fun and very loud!!!

    • @MrBradfordchild
      @MrBradfordchild Před 3 měsíci +2

      People quote torque because that's what makes a bike easy, and fun, to ride. If you don't understand this, you don't understand motorcycles.
      Mike Hailwood reckoned you only need 70hp, and I bet he was faster than you'll ever be, even on a 200hp jap 4.

    • @joeronomo
      @joeronomo  Před 6 měsíci +1

      this was an entire crate engine not just an engine kit. right now with the dunlop elite 3 it just blows the tire off 1st threw 3rd. im sure you could power up the front end without the clutch if i had a stickier tire on it. yea i have some videos up of me running against some other bikes.
